The Emperor of Jinxiu happily accepts Sui Ge’s proposal to keep Jing Shi in Susha after the wedding with his sister, as it allows him to take control of Jing Shi’s army. Yi Xiao continues to probe Ning Fei, Wei Ran, and Jing Shi about what happened after the battle in Pingling, and their differing responses make her more suspicious of Wei Ran and Jing Shi.
