Because this is so degrading and awful to watch her go through. I know she's at her wits end and even before this she was starting to throw crazy behavior at him to try to counter his psychotic behavior. Meanwhile, I'm. not a fan that the writers have decided to throw the amnesia trope card onto the table as part of her brother's recovery. This trope is too predictable and too lame and is usually used to just drag out a lot of wasted episode minutes. Hopefully they won't drag it out too long.
