Century of Love (2024)

IFYLITA is one of the best Thai BLs, and one of the best BLs in general, that has been made to date and there hasn't been another one quite like it until Century of Love came along. Both of these are absolute 10s. I would recommend them both as must watches.

Supernaturally long living characters wait for the reincarnation of their long lost love who sacrificed themselves to save them. Once found, they begin love-hate relationships with the reincarnation because it is a must to lift a curse. They will literally die from the curse if they don't. A lot of long stares and awkward moments. Both are BLs.

Both have a supernatural plot that plays with time, with travel to the past for I feel you linger in the air and reincarnation for Century of love. The love interest has waited for many generations for the main character.

Both BL dramas have fated lovers and reincarnation plots whereby the main characters were lovers in both their past and current lives. There is also some supernatural elements as well.

Both Thai BL dramas feature DaouOffroad as the main leads. Century of Love is a supernatural fated-lovers lakhon (Thai soap opera) while The Wicked Game is an action bodyguard show.

At first view this series seems very different, but I think that they are kind of similar :

-They are both about history and time.
-In both one of the lead hated the other at first.
-They are both Thai bls from 2024.
-The "compagny" of COL helped to create The hidden moon.

If you are looking for a bl drama that tells about the reincarnation of the main cast I recommend this drama. Which includes the best bl dramas of 2024.

Both leads are forced to live together (forced proximity trope)
- The family ships them, there's wholesome cute moments but also thrilling ones with intense action.
- Both couples kind of start off reluctant but the romance? it's passionate and special!

Waiting and searching for one you love over time is one thing both series have in common. Like UWMA, there was the nostalgic red thread or string connecting the lovers. Destny fulfilled as lovers who tie the red string to each other's finger will find each other because of being tied together. Love the reincarnation in both series as well.

Have the same plot where one person waits for years.
Also the person that dies changes gender when they reincarnate.

- Both dramas are focused on MLs that are above the age of 100 that fall for guys in their Early 20s
_ Both MLs go through a situation hundreds of years ago that make them decide to stay Immortal
_Both MLs Are very Bad Ass, Grumpy and barely smile
_Both Mls Protect thier Men from those that want to hurt them.

Century of love is about a girl reborn in male body, while Mr Queen is a man reborn in female one. Both of their love interests are oblivious about the situation and take time to establish a relationship although of course it's love from the first sight. Characters in both series have conflict about being attracted to the same sex. Despite a different plot otherwise, the gender identity and sexuality conflict is very similar, plus magic plot with a lot of clowning by secondary characters.

1. ML was heartbroken due to FL's demise/ departure & kept waiting for her.
2. FL reincarnated as a boy & returned to ML.

Overall, the two dramas have similar vibes/atmosphere as well as plots.

The male leads of Century of Love also played in Love in Translation, might as well check it out. Daou and Offroad's new fans can watch it while waiting for the next episodes.
