don't dwell on the past when you have the future ahead

If you don't want spoilers it was an okay drama, nothing that special besides the chemistry, but even that couldn't save this. Okay, spoiler time. I gave it a 7.85 out of 10, rounded down to a 7.5 out of 10. Okay, so I am writing this on Grammarly, because I have been doing everything on Grammarly recently, first and copying and pasting it over. I finished this in a 24-hour time frame which I haven’t done since Kinn and fucking Porsche which is INSANE, so let's get it I guess.

Starting with my Instagram stories because they are still here because it hasn't been 24 hours and I was just bitching about how I would be mad if I waited 100 years for my beautiful wife and she was now a man. I am very woke but I would be so fucking mad I’d just accept my fate. I was also doing international relations homework. And then I made a joke about Seven Universe and that's it for that.

Okay, let’s do this by episode now. it was 2 in the fucking morning and I started this shit because I thought that Offroad was genuinely such a goofy name. The whole reason is started this show is because I am a fucking hater, insane. They had good chemistry and I am obsessed with Destiny/fate love stories, so they are cute. The first episode was the right pace until the end of the episode and that started the downward spiral of this show, but hey, then I continued my rant about waiting so long and it being a man.

Uh, I just talk about them not getting the stone, which made no sense but mostly the second episode was back and forth and filer shit, because they needed to drag stuff out instead of dragging the actual plot out to fit in the time frame so it doesn't cave on itself at the end, but that just my suggestion.

A lot was happening and a little at the same time, very confusing. it was just like what the fuck is happening? And of course, I was getting emotional with the grandma scene because I have a soft spot for grandmas and I can’t when old people are sick, it makes me sad. Save your grandma but at what cost? was the deepest shit I have ever typed in my 17 years on this sad earth. and then I said something just blatantly wrong about the drama because I was confused and like to lie when I am confused apparently no.

I was very confused because they were running circles around each other and I don't need that in my life. wait I am gonna sleep and finish this in the morning. It is now the morning. I also didn't know they were the main couple in love in translation so I am also going to watch that next. The show is good, it's just a little confusing because of the amount of cop-outs they do for plots. They tried to put too much stuff into one show and now are facing the consequences of their actions.

I have been complaining a lot and I am sorry but the memory change to Wee instead of Wad was the best thing this show has ever seen. It was really to show how much the characters have changed and it was nice to see that. And the transition was very smooth as well, it wasn't an over-the-top thing and that was very much needed. Also, peak San getting really aggressively possessive because Third showed up. Because that was so random, I feel like they should have developed that more. Because it felt very random and abrupt and I was a little confused. It was also finally getting interesting and there is some actual love in there but Wee's alternative plans were gonna fuck up everything and I was right. I mentioned that I wanted to see if they have other shows because they have good on and off-screen chemistry and now I am gonna watch Love in translation. Every time San does the screaming thing when he transforms I think of that one Lil Mabu song and I genuinely cringe so much. San had his slow redemption and Third was so sexy, like he was slowly growing on me. The way he was looking to the side at Wee, holy freak, he is bad as fuck.

Once again the memories now being Wee very cute and well done. They could have developed their love a lot more because it felt very empty and was a serious cop-out. Also was praying that San wasn't so shallow that he would leave Wee for some random girl who looks like a girl he was in love with 100 years ago. They wrote that part very well, and how she came in, was genuinely really good writing on their part now that I think about it.

I say that I think the girl is not actually who she says she is, got that straight on. Also, San dying for Wee was lowkey really deep because he is so willing to sacrifice his immortal life for Wee, that was very well done.

They had so many cop out plots in this it was insane, and there was more plot than romance and I was hoping they would do that in the final episode, side note they did not. And why didn't the uncle die, oh my god, him coming back like be fucking for real, just die.

Uh, a lot of stuff happened and then it started to slow down plot-wise. and I was like where did the girl go? but it was all part of the plot plan for greatness. Good job on their part, very nice to see. Other than that cop-out-ass episode, I was watching this shit on Daily Motion because the company refuses to put subtitiles on youtube videos. The part where San knew he was gonna die but still decided to give up his life for Wee was very sweet and I would fall flat on my face for a man like that. And the basic villian arc dying scene could have been finished earlier.

The ending was a cop-out but not the cop-out ending I was expecting. I wrote this part as I went so enjoy I guess. I really wanted them to fuck to fuse the crystals but I guess not. The crying was really good throughout the show but the end they were doing to much with the crying. It's not that deep. No, but if my man was dying right in front of me I would be jumping in his grave saying take me with you so me and Wee are synced in that way. Let's see this final part and hope they don’t cop out more. Whoever was in charge of outfits (no Chu's though, some of her outfits were so fucking ugly it was stressing me out more than the plot) and camera work needs a fat raise because that was really well done. And then we had a cop-out ass ending with the crystal gem shit. But did we ever find out who is the real Ms. Wa? Good overall message throughout though. don't dwell on the past when you have the future ahead. Banger line by me I guess. That's the new headline. r.i.p Have I run out of fate. For love being in the title, they didn't have enough love. Like they needed to do more with this love thing. I respect this cop out ending and this one only. The other cop-outs in this got on my nerves and were annoying. They trying to fuck on the balcony. He has been waiting 100 years for that I guess. Face cards don't decline with these two. The scene where Third is looking at San and Wee is giving Star in my mind with Typhoon and Dao and Kluen. Full circle moment I guess. So is Wee now immortal or what? How does any of this work? They have gotten married like 3 times, insane. and it's over.

Uh, that was definitely something and I have so many questions it is insane. I also have to average it now because I haven’t done that yet. And yeah. Well, it was nice getting back into dramas, I guess. This was an okay drama and it could’ve been done better. I wouldn’t recommend but do what you want it's your life, not mine. Okay bye!

A LOVE STORY OF A MAN WHO CAN'T LET GO

This drama is just perfect for my taste and so far one of the best Drama I have watched this year !
The story was all about a man who cannot let go of his lover and was willing to do everything to make his love beautiful, even sacrificing his life, thank fully and lucky him that there was a goddess like that who listened to his prayer, I actually started to become curious about the story of this goddess and is there were real five colored stone. In the end, we all who have seen this drama left without knowing who was the real Khun Wad, we also do not know if it were really Vee that was Khun Wad, it seems that everything in the end was a coincidence, maybe the goddess really wanted P'San to learn to let go and so she let him meet Vee, if she was really Khun Wad , we do not know
The Chemistry of Vee and P'San was really beautiful, P'San being grumpy and Vee who always throws himself to P'San it was so funny and I had butterfly ! The kissing scene was just enough , not too steamy and it seems that Daou and Offroad was really really confident and comfortable with each other. Chu ! She was my favorite Character here, I do not really know what would I do without her when I see episodes of this drama, she was such a memorable character , to behonest everyone was such a memorable Im gonna miss the squad but It will be Chu that will be my favorite.
I was literally impressed by the acting of Daou !! And also adding Offroad ! Man ! That was why I really wondered if they have acted many times , but I think it was not ! Everyones acting here was so nice ! Nd let me highlight the fighting scenes, usually some fighting scenes I have seen in Thai BL or dramas was not so convincing but P'San ! Excuse me ?! He looks like a chinese fighter 🩷 all in all everyones acting was so nice
I have 2 favorite lines in this drama the first was when Vee was talking to his grandmother, her grandmother said that , sometimes we need to accept that there is an end for everything , coz thats life , because if everything is forever, how can we value every moment we have .. and second was when the doctor of the Shrine said that we should let go of the past and live with the present
There were some parts at the end specially when the old man was trying to steal the five colored stone before Vee was shot, they were like playing HAHAH but it was okay and annoying at the same time specially to WadFah and that uncle of Chu who sided the sick old rich man who tried to steal the stone.
This drama was so beautiful , and it gives a direct message to everyone that we should let go of the past and live in the present through seeing the story of P'San .. we can only value the past but we should not hold on to it so that we can move one and face the more beautiful surprises life can bring
This drama is a two thumbs up for me, with its excellent writing probably one of the most memorable story I have seen so far, I hope that everyone in the world will see this drama, I have nothing to say against this drama all in all and Im gonna be missing the squad , P'Sans family waaa everything.
I am sure Im gonna be seeing this drama many times again in the future. Bye for now P'San, by for now Vee and Chuuu 💚🩷

Can be a contender for my best BL for the year 2024!

When I saw the official trailer, I was intrigued and genuinely wonder how they were going to handle the story. And I must say that they did an excellent job. For these five past weeks, i eagerly await and watch the two episodes per week, becoming more engrossed and wrapped with this story.

And yes, there are some parts where I can see that can be cringy as well as the 'villains' were extremely week and at a point, I was already predicting the storyline to go a certain way (which it did with their little twist), it was still an enjoyable and emotional journey. This series got me in my feelings in the last two episodes and I can't say when last this has happened to me and that's why I see this series as a contender for my best BL for the year 2024!

What makes this series stand out for me, personally, is the love story between San and Vee. While they had their ups and downs, I felt that their relationship was portrayed beautifully. They loved and cared for each other that they would do anything for each other, even if it's their own lives. San and Vee went through a lot to get to the point they got to throughout the series. And I will most definitely recommend this series to others.

Best reincarnation BL series

Century of Love is a captivating series that hooked me from start to finish. As a fan of reincarnation stories, I was eager to dive in, and it exceeded my expectations. The plot twist where San discovers his soulmate is a man after expecting a woman is a game-changer. And San certainly not into it because he is very loyal to his past love and besides he is a straight 120 year old man.

This series balances humor and romance beautifully, with the family teasing San being a highlight. The leads' chemistry is undeniable, with Vee's charm and playful side and San's grumpy demeanor making their romance all the more sweet. San's journey from resistance to acceptance as Vee's lover is romantic and satisfying. In addition, I like the fact that his family is so supportive of their relationship.

The villain, Wat, is convincingly portrayed, and her unexpected role in helping San in the end is a nice touch. This series introduced me to Daou and Offroad's work, leading me to watch their other series, Love of Translation and I am looking forward for their upcoming series, The Wicked Game.

EYES OPENING SERIES FOR ME

I knew how popular the main leads were but I didn’t care much because their appearances were not my type. Still, I gave this series a try and oh my God it was excellent! Their acting skills were amazing. They made me cried for them and laughed for them. Not to mention their chemistry was over the top.
About the plot, the writers were talented. They really came up with a convincible ending.
Other actors and actresses were skillful too.
This series taught me, again, about many lessons of love and life.
The only minor of this series is its BGM. But it didn’t lessened my emotion much.

A 100 Years of Waiting

Century of Love is a very high rated and recommended BL series in different social media platforms. Some are claiming that it can be considered the best BL series of 2024. Yes, I also believe that this series is one of the best BL produced.

The Century of Love is a story between San and Wat. The story started with San being chased by some sort of guards or policemen. Thankfully, Ms. Wat is there to save him. The two develop some feelings for each other. Unfortunately, Ms. Wat is already in a fixed marriage with Trai. Ms. Wat doesn't love him. When the three of them meet each other, Trai is going to shoot San, but instead shot Ms. Wat.

San has a "master" and they're supporting some sort of deity in Thailand. Since San love Wat so much, he begged his master to help her. Sadly, her master said that he cannot help Wat since she is already dead. But there is another way. He got the five colored stone and break it into half. With this stone, they will meet again sometime. This also gave San a long life of another 100 years, because he need to meet again the reincarnation of Wat before the deadline of 100 years. If he did not find Wat's reincarnation by then, he will die tragically.

After 100 years, many generations already passed. There they located Wat's reincarnation. But when they met her, she is already a boy named Wee, who have a bad background. Unlike, Ms. Wat who is a girl and a noble. The story basically revolve with San and Wee's journey to being a lover, the Five Colored Stone, and San's last moments.

The plot and story was easy to understand. It was magically done. The way that this kind of story is unique to the taste of the viewers is really what makes it interesting. Each episode was really amazing and I can really keep-up on what is happening. My only problem is the way the CGIs are done, it was so bad. It felt like someone unprofessional did it.

The characters and casts are also amazing.

San - His boomer acting is really good. His character really portrays that he is already a hundred plus year old man. His action scenes were also chef's kiss, it was so satisfying to watch those scenes.

Wee - I somewhat disliked his character in the middle of the series. I understand that he needs to do that because of his grandmother, but I just cannot stand that decision of his. On the other hand, I love his acting whenever he is showing lovey-dovey emotions to San.

San and Wee's chemistry is a 10/10. You cannot really miss out on them whenever they're doing a film.

The other side characters are also really amazing addition to the series, both the actors and the characters they are portraying. Especially to Tao and Ju's character, they really added the extra flavors to the scenes they are there.

In totality, The Century of Love is really good and a must watch BL series. The only problem with is the CGI scenes, the rest, it was the best.

One of my favorite series this year!

Went into this one for Daou and Offroad and stayed for the absolutely amazing story! I don't even think I watched the trailer for this one, literally just started it because I adore Daou and Offroad and really liked their last series, Lost in Translation. I was hooked after episode one! The plot was so much fun but also really complicated and really enjoyable. I loved that we didn't 100% know if Offroad's character was the person Daou's character had been searching for for the last 100. I also liked that Wat's character wasn't trustworthy and kind of a sucky person, like I wasn't expecting her to be like that. Absolutely loved the "love triangle" with the doctor, he was such a wholesome and genuine character. The grandma story line hit a little too close to home and was done really well. I know these shows rely a little too heavily on the sick parent or grandparent story line, but this one was so incredibly realistic and had my BAWLING!

If you haven't watched this one yet, I highly recommend! I can't wait to see what the future has in store for Daou and Offroad!

Not bad for the relatively new Daou-Offroad pairing

This drama had a promising start with a unique premise and as we have already seen that the lead pair have good chemistry from love in translation which should have added on the favorable side of the series - But this drama quickly wobbled in the mid episodes and had a okay-ish ending.

I would have loved to see the story and characters more fleshed out during its runtime instead of making some really potential characters just some disposable plot devices.

I was very excited for this story over the currently airing not so good JBLs .

Anyways - nevertheless this pairing has good potential for future projects as both the actors have improved considerably in their acting - Looking forward for their new projects .

Not bad but far from unforgettable

Right from the start, it feels like Lakorn, to our delight: excessive acting, big production, tons of drama, ultra-cheap special effects. You start hoping for a second To Sir, With Love.

Alas, the series quickly devolves into an unpretentious little comedy, and the charm of Lakorn disappears. The poor acting, especially by the man who plays Wee, doesn't help matters. We start to get bored.

The last part is a little more dynamic and saves the whole thing. Still, this series won't make the list of BL's best!

Simples but captivating

It's a very interesting series and a great story for Daou and Offroad, who have undeniable chemistry and deliver an excellent work here.

The story reminds me a lot of First Love, Again and I like how it's developed. It's a simple story, but well executed and what really stands out here is the interaction and charisma of the main actors.

The direction is a bit weak, especially in the action scenes and the more dramatic moments. The series has a soap opera-like feel, especially in the cinematography, which is quite flat and waist the beautiful sets they have.

And one of the only things I don't like about this series is the villains. There's no need for them, they serve no purpose in the plot and the whole discussion about stealing the stone becomes repetitive and tiring. The series could benefit from a secondary couple or better development of the other characters instead of insisting on all this drama of the uncle and the impostor trying to steal the stone.

It's a fun project with great actors, a well-structured story and despite the poor production, it's a series that delivers an excellent result with a couple that exudes chemistry.

Potential to be great, ruined by writing

7-7.5 stars.

This BL reminds me of The Sign and how I felt watching it. I loved the concept and plot line as well as the chemistry between the leads, but there were just too many moments of logic being thrown out the window that dampened by enjoynment. Also I feel bad rating this low because quality was really nice but it was also highly dramatized with lots of makjang-esque moments that really cheapened the overall quality.

The romance seems like it would be one of those classic epic love stories, like in IFYLITA, that lasts through the years and shows you how time can't stop one true love (I mean, its right there in the title too); however, interestingly enough, I didn't get that feeling by the end of the show. Suffice to say, it feels like the message in this BL is more about moving on and living in the present, not holding on to what has passed but following your heart. Especially with how inconclusive the plot was about Vee and Wat, I just wasn't getting the anticipated 'Centuries of Love' vibes yk? Anyway, I don't mind it too much because the chemistry between the leads was great. Vee's actor did give me cringey moments here and there with his acting, but he was a lovable character.

Mini spoiler: TLDR rant from above is just, how can you name a series 'Century of Love' yet make me doubt at the end whether the main leads are actually the fated couple or not...

Things I liked about this show were the family dynamics between San and his descendants(?), Vee's relationship with his grandma, watching San progress from hating(?) Vee to being head over heels for him, Third's friendship with Vee and him being the voice of reason in this show (also love that they broke away from the cliche of the 2nd ML pining after the MC plot), and Chu (bestest great grand daughter ever), oh and big shoutout to Doctor Tao!

Overall, it's just an okay series. Steam level is medium but has great intimacy (Hello, neck and wrist scenting!). I hope to see San's and Third's actors in other BLs in the future as I really liked their performance in this.
