Great start, ZL and WC seem to have good rapport and a naturalchemistry between them. They do seem to have cast this drama well even the side characters are well acted and the jigsaw of the story is slowly forming.

loves ambition is an amazing drama that I watched this year. The story is good especially in ep 14, 15,16,17 I have watched. As time goes on, the story gets better, especially the actor's acting is natural. I look forward to it every day

Timeline jumps and lots of info. You have to pay attention to not miss details. Some folks , like me, might need 2 views to catch them all.

Beginning effectively draws you in as written and narrated in first person. Blending of past and present done nicely so that you can become absorbed in the story.

First episode introduces Xu Yan, a hardworking planner who devotes literally her entire energy into her job. She gets yell at, but still pushes through with a smile. I think this is quite relateable in today's society; I would've quit by the time that host yelled at me. LOLit also showcases a bit of her romance life with Hao Ming and how they got together. I think the editing is trying to speed up the audience to the present day with all the timeline skips. It was a bit confusing, honestly. The scene that stood out for me is the hospital scene when Hao Ming took care of Xu Yan and gave her a bandaid. The look Xu Yan gave him just shows that for the time time someone, other than her grandma, also cared for her. :( Xu Yan overall feels like she is constantly putting on a mask, a facade, to feel accepted by everyone. It shows she has suffered a lot mentally and emotionally to be able to put on this mask. Honestly, this is somewhat relatable as well especially when you're neglected as a child. I am looking forward to where this drama takes us!

Episode One: WOW! Tightly written script. The two protagonists lead double lives. LuSi's acting was very nuanced. You can see how much Xu Yan was trying to make it at her job and then you can start seeing the ideas ticking in her mind.
The opening scene. with her fake parents, was gripping and definitely set the tone of the drama. Obviously, everything was founded on her lies and we, as the viewer, must like the character to be vested in her lies. Xu Yan as the bullied show planner pulled us in to her motives--she obviously wanted to be the host of that show, needed to get the best interviews, had to be top-notch in finding out stuff. Her eye for detail was shown with the way she coached the fake parents.Her lover,
Hao Ming, was no slouch either. He showed he could see through Xu Yan and was a worthy opponent. Yet, something about her kept his interest. What? Maybe we'll find out in Episode 2. He definitely wanted her in his life by actually revealing his Other Identity to her at the end of Episode 1.I'm IN for Episode 2! Are you?
