I started watching dramas since the age of 5 or so because my mom loved to watch it as well. One of the earliest dramas I watched were from Hong Kong(TVB), Taiwan and South Korea (mandarin dubbed.) I began watching J-dramas around 2006 along with Chinese dramas, K-dramas in its original dub around 2009. Nowadays, I prefer to watch Chinese dramas.
Other than watching dramas, my other hobbies include playing games, listening to music, reading fantasy books, and occasionally drawing.

I typically look for fantasy and adventure genres because who wouldn't want to live in a world full of magic, beautiful sceneries and mythological beings? Anyhow, most of the dramas I really enjoy are centered around wuxia or xianxia genres. Followed by Chinese historical dramas, it really depends on the plot or actors/actresses. Anything that involves martial arts is really up my alley. Romance, comedy, or meaningful topics regarding life, mental health or diseases typically piques my interest. |
