Happy Ending

แฮปปี้ เอนดิ้ง ‧ Drama
Happy Ending is an incredible psychological thriller drama, which, at the time of writing this reccomendation, has only released a pilot trailer. Jeff Satur is the producer, music director, and one of the main actors. The trailer gives just a glimspe into the story, showing the premise of novel Reader 'Anawin' (played by Barcode) meeting Damon (Jeff) who is the angtagonist of a novel he read. The synopsis reminded me of Omniscient Reader novel, so I wanted to check it out. It's releasing sometime in 2026, and has a good premise.

My Chef in Crime gives off sort of Hannibal vibes. Jeff plays the role of a chef who used to be a forensic scientist. After his rival chef is killed in a brutal murder, he ends up working together with the detective on the case in order to clear his name. The Pilot only came out a while ago, but the cinematography looks incredible.

I want to reccomend one show to any watcher of the other, since they both have Jeff Satur as a main actor, and because the trailers gave off similar vibes. Lookinng forward to watching both.

Since I am making this reccomendation before either series release, the reason for my choice is that the trailers gave me very similar vibes.

Wu has the qualities of a well made action/semi-fantasy bromance series in which the main characters will have to work together to unravel a larger mystery. Happy Ending stars brilliant actors in a plot where a detective and a criminal (of sorts) come to life from a novel, and encompasses themes of horror/thriller in an inncredible way, mixing into mystery. I'll update this as the series offically release, but I feel like any watcher of one would enjoy watching the other.

Strangers from Hell is an incredible psychological thriller K-Drama that executes it's storyline perfectly. It has this way of hooking you in, and you'll remain on the edge of your seat till the end. And as an added bonus, You have Im Siwans hilarious reactions, Lee Dong Wooks great characterization, and brilliant acting from all parties.

Happy Ending is an incredible psychological thriller Thai-Drama which, at the time of writing this reccomendation, has only released a pilot trailer. Still, just from the trailer, it has a uncanny similarity to Strangers from hell. Jeff Satur, the producer, music director, and one of the main actors, is an absoulute genius. The trailer gives just a glimspe of the story without spoiling anything major, yet still draws you in from the first 3 seconds.

Any fan of one show will love the other; I am certain of it. And for those of you who have only ever seen strictly K-Drama's only or strictly Thai-Drama's only, it's the perfect thing to get an fan into something new. Please check out both series!

Both are psychological horror Thai BL dramas where the main character questions his sanity or has his reality slowly distorted. Happy Ending may not be a true BL drama (to be confirmed).

Both are Thai dramas with a horror/mystery theme. Happy Ending is psychological/modern day horror (still unclear if it would be a BL) while Khemjira is a BL drama that is supernatural/ghost theme horror.

Both are Thai dramas with a psychological horror/mystery theme. While both are psychological horrors, Happy Ending feels more dream-like or trippy compared to DFF that is more a horror slasher. Although there is some male-male romance in both dramas, it is not the main focus unlike a traditional BL drama. The actor Barcode Tinnasit features in both dramas.

Both are Thai BL dramas with a psychological horror/mystery theme, with 4Minutes having a more sci-fi edge and Happy Ending a more trippy, dream-like feel. There is male-male romance in both shows, although both shows are more story focused than romance focused.

If you can't get enough of Barcode's acting you should check out "Happy Ending" and "Kiss Me Remember". (When they get released)

Different genre, but both dramas have that top tier chemistry.

Happy Ending: JeffBarcode
JeffBarcode has been long term working partners and Jeff was actually a mentor to Barcode in the beginning of his career, therefore it's that much more heartfelt, that Jeff chose Barcode as one of his fellow main leads in his first drama as a producer.

Kiss Me, Remember?: BarcodeKin
BarcodeKin is a new formed partnership under GMMTV, but they have already shown great potential. They are already known as the "The Race Driver & The Hokey Player"- Couple and loved by many fans.

Barcode portraying Ciar in "Revamp", he is one of the main leads named Anawin in "Happy Ending" alongside Jeff Satur, Mike Angelo and Jorin (4EVE).

Both dramas have elements of romance and fantasy.

Jeff Satur and Barcode Tinnasit (known as JeffBarcode together) are both starring in "Kinnporche" and "Happy Ending".

Both dramas has some darkness and romance.

The populor OST "Why don't you stay" from Kinnporche was written from Kim (Jeff Satur's character) to Porchay (Barcode's characther) as the last goodbye.
In real life Jeff wrote it himself and he was also the producer of the song.

Both involve a fictional character coming to life involving crime and investigation.

Both shows have fictional events from an online book/manga coming into play in the real world
