I didn’t drop this because it’s Liu Lanbo, but it is horrible. Definitely not a remake of What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim. The resemblance ends with the leads being boss and secretary and the secretary wanting to resign. ML is insecure and FL doesn’t really love him imo.The story is hard to follow; could be the editing or the writing. FL keeps saying ML’s a demanding boss who’s hard to please but there’s no indication of that. He’s just a sweet love brain. We find out right at the beginning that there was a ONS between the leads but they didn’t actually shoot those scenes. Like, wth 😂 Then they get married but I was also scratching my head as to why FL decided to marry him when she was trying to set boundaries with and avoid him.
The rest of the story is about the ML trying to sort his family life while the FL tries to avoid and divorce him.
Also no steamy kisses, no chemistry, nothing to keep the interest going. What a waste of Liu Lanbo’s talents. I would skip it unless you’re also a Liu Lanbo fan like me who wants to see everything he’s in.
