This is a crazy comparison (I KNOW) but I can't help but find Ai Di and Isumi to be soooo similar. They're both sassy, short, blonde and hopelessly in love. If you like this character archetype and you've watched one, you'll enjoy the other. Aside from that, there's really no similarity between these two dramas (lol).

Both are Japanese BLs with a slice of life feel, centering around a couple, one of whom is a good cook and the other of whom goes to work all day, then comes home to relax with the other's cooking.

In Cat for Cash the top falls first while in Sugar Dog Life it's the other way around but both series are extremely fluffy with green forest tops and healthy domestic relationships.

Both JBLs have a large age gap, feature two leads overcoming their loneliness, and the tone is cutesy/adorable.

Both are LGBTQ+ japanese dramas featuring the meeting of two strangers that make their way towards romance through a love of cooking and food.
