This is a great, lighthearted, investigative version of the “Modern day Doctor transmigrates into ancient times”-story.This version has an aspiring coroner as the transmigrated person so the storyline is mostly about crime-solving.
I loved this peppy/clever/carefree FL and powerful/calm/nice ML. Although focus is on the case, there is actually room for romance (good chemistry).
This is definitely well worth watching but beware the ending.

Great drama that could've have a higher rating but it has an unsatisfying ending!?
-Princess Across Time(2024) is a very good transmigration investigative coroner’s miniseries with Li Junchen (as Crown Prince Ling Xuan / Luo Jin Chuan) and Jin Zi Chuan (as Qin Xi Yue / Tang Bing Er) in the leading couple’s role. The drama is lighthearted with the female lead providing a good amount of comedic relief; she’s lively and charming while the male lead is more reserved but warm hearted. The supporting cast did very well too and friendships were true and loyal.SPOILER ALERT: Her story on historical time had a sad closure with her returning to modern times and her modern time story restarted with her recovering from the pool incident, there is an open end and, as of now, there is no confirmation of a second season. : (

Can't take it as of now
The drama is good seriously... The story line is a complex murder mistery which might cater to the taste of lots of people out there ( including mine) , but the execution is really boring.there are but very very less amount of light hearted moments to contrast seriousness of the story. I wish they concluded more of that.. may be someday I will pick it again and finish watching it but as of now I am dropping it ... People who have low threshold for seriy and monotonous can skip on it.Was this review helpful to you?
