Extraordinary

Both MLs transmigrate from modern day into a fictional historical kingdom where they're the son of a family. They then proceed to use their knowledge of the future to navigate and thrive in their new location.

Extraordinary (2025) and Be Yourself (2025) both ride the ‘modern-or-outsider in a historical/fantasy world’ wave — but they give it very different flavors. Extraordinary leans more into politics, strategy and slow-burn power play: the MC pretends to be a wastrel but uses modern knowledge/wits to amass wealth and influence, quietly rising to real power behind the scenes. Meanwhile, Be Yourself opts for fantasy + romance + cultivation tropes: a powerful ancient monster merges into a weak body and suddenly gets romance, power and attention (plus multiple marriage proposals), so it’s more flashy, dramatic and romance-driven.
In short — Extraordinary feels like a cunning, slow-paced palace-drama with secrets and strategy; Be Yourself is more of a wild, supernatural ride full of cultivation-energy, romance, and transformation.

Both protagonists travel from the modern world to ancient times and use their modern knowledge to earn money and help their families.
