Five Stars

The ending is unpredictable like how they switch fate...i like how their path always cross without those typical childhood connection

WATCH IT IF YOU LIKE ROMANTASY

It’s a 10/10 in every aspect. Whether it’s the acting, the plot, everything. If you like romcom and fantasy watch it!!!! All the actors are talented. It’s rare to find a drama like this. I’m just disappointed by the ratings and the reviews ! 7 really ??? . It deserves so much better. I'm so sad for the actors and the team hard work. But well, it’s okay as long as it’s doing well in the Netflix rankings

Things are heating up

After the backstories of the characters have been shown we are starting to see real movement in the characters’ progression towards the main plot. The other supporting actors are good too! Even the chaebol CEO! His acting while trying to stop himself from admitting his crime was just hilarious! Did I mention all of Eunho’s fits have been sooo good? Kinda like Blair Waldorfy type which I loovvveee! Let’s see what happens episode 3.

Character introductions are over now their fates have changed.

Some end up in prison, some thriving, some hit rock bottom, and some find their fortune isn't enough to buy an island. The only disappointing thing about this episode is that the romance is still so faint. Well, it’s more than the first episode, but it’s still not enough for me (just 2 scenes?). I’m craving Siyeol and Eunho’s forced cohabitation. It's a bit of a shame that hot and rich Siyeol only appeared briefly before switching back to chaotic and poor Siyeol. I get the authors anyway. Swapping Siyeol and Wooseok’s fates is necessary to lead to the growth and evolving relationship between Siyeol and Eunho, which is the main point of the drama. (I especially loved Choi Seungyoon’s performance in this episode. He really nailed that scene in front of the police station.)

Three Stars

The Gumiho had a bit off a positive moment when she made it so the rich guy could no longer lie b/c the scene of him going back to the police station amd trying not to get out of the car was hilarious. Kudos to the cator as well. Oh my the "wish" was so damn predictable and awful....

Fun watch

Eunho is feisty and self-centered but when she softens for a moment, the chemistry crackles. The story execution is a bit fast paced but so far its fun.

Fantasy, but with Training Wheels

The first two episodes clearly show the skeleton of the story.A friend is hit by a car, a wish is granted — and instead of using it to truly save him, the narrative chooses the least efficient option so the conflict can continue. That’s where the fantasy starts to feel domesticated: power exists, but it’s never allowed to solve what actually matters.Remove the gumiho myth and the story still works the same — this could easily be about a powerful CEO and the structure wouldn’t change.Episode 2 introduces a more interesting turn: success becomes a zero-sum game. If one rises, the other falls. For the first time, the fantasy stops softening the conflict and starts introducing real consequences.Whether the series commits to this idea or retreats back into a safe romantic mold is still an open question.
