The criminal gang led by "Lao Die" (Old Man) was ultimately punished by judicial authorities for crimes including trafficking in women and children, forced prostitution, illegal detention, theft, and intentional injury. "Lao Die" survived after emergency treatment, but he then faced severe legal punishment. Other members of the gang also received corresponding punishments according to the law.

Mao A Mei and some of those who had been harmed by him received corresponding compensation in accordance with the law.

Gao Yue Xiang was sentenced to six years imprisonment for intentional injury. Her sentence was reduced by one year due to good behavior in reform, and she was released in 2019 after serving her full sentence.
