A little late to the party

This is my first time watching a Chinese dating reality show and I enjoyed it. I watched it after Korean show heart pairing soo I feel like more interesting things could’ve been done in this show too. For example I feel like they could’ve done contract dates. There were only 3 dates in total, there should’ve been more. Overall it was fun to watch. Also I feel like there could’ve been more mix and match opportunities like no unexpected couple came out of the dates.

As for the contestants I liked them overall. There was diversity in terms of age and background. Ding hao is my absolute favourite in the show. I like his boyish charm and clumsiness. It’s actually true that sincerity is the best thing you can offer someone and he proved it works. Oscar and Ding hao’s friendship was also very delightful to see.
Another favourite contestant was as YuFan, Girl you are loveeeee. You are a boss lady and way too good for Mu-Chen and I am happy she didn’t begged for his attention and left. Absolute boss girl move.
Qing ya is such cutie. I didn’t like her much in the beginning but she turned out to be such a sweetheart. She is hilarious and I like her interactions with everyone. I kinda feel like she wasn’t tht much into peng hao till the end. I how they are together or something. Peng hao gets carried away sometimes and such a simp but I guess when you really like someone you become like this.
Another person that stood out was Midie. I am glad nini took the right initiative at the time and made him stay. His conversation with Nini was most fun to watch. Soo deep ,soo poetic!!
As for Mu-Chen he didn’t realise the difference between attraction and compatibility. He cared for YuFan but he didn’t realise it and lost both girls at the end. He couldn’t even clear up the mess he made after the beach day and messed up things with Xiaomi too. He is really bad at communication plus he is confused,unaware of what he wants. Xiao Mi also seem bit shady too but at the end made the right choice. I was happy with the outcome.
Gotta say the songs that they played in background was perfect based on situations. Loved it.
