In Extraordinary You, the FL thinks she is the main character, while here, the FL thinks she is the side character.

1. Entering a Novel World
A Dream Within a Dream (???): FL wakes up inside a novel or a dreamscape, where reality bends — and she has to survive a plot she didn’t write.
The First Night with the Duke (???? ????): FL literally wakes up in the body of a novel character after spending a night reading the story. Now she’s stuck in a romance plot with a dangerous male lead.
? Both heroines are modern women suddenly trapped in fictional, romanticized — but dangerous — worlds.
2. Romance with the Male Lead
A Dream Within a Dream: Starts out emotionally distant or mysterious, but the ML slowly gets entangled with the FL emotionally.
First Night with the Duke: ML is dangerous, obsessive, and cold... but slowly melts because of FL’s unpredictable actions.
? Both MLs fall for the FLs not because they play by the book — but because they break the mold.
3. Comedy, Chaos, and Unexpected Turns
Both dramas include moments where the FL’s modern logic totally clashes with the fantasy setting:
> Doing things “wrong” that actually make things better.
> Flustering cold-hearted MLs.
> Breaking serious plots with unexpected behavior.
? They’re both playful genre parodies, while still delivering serious romantic beats.

Kinda similar concept,it's just that lost romance is of modern times and this one is of historical.
-same plot
-same female lead of the novel exchange
-the guy was supposed to fall in love with different girl.

In 1867, Sin Jae Hyo leads the Dongrijungsa, which teaches pansori (traditional Korean musical storytelling). A young girl, Chae Seon, who wants to perform pansori, appears in front of him. Chae Seon has dreamed of performing pansori since she first heard Sin Jae Hyo perform when she was little, but Sin Jae Hyo turns her down because women are not allowed to perform pansori. Chae Seon then disguises herself as a man and enters the Dongrijungsa to learn pansori, but Sin Jae Hyo doesn’t accept her as his student.
One day, he hears Daewongun, the most powerful man in Joseon and the father of the King, is going to hold a national competition of pansori performers known as “Naksungyeon”. Sin Jae Hyo decides to teach Chae Seon, who has a true voice to perform “Chunhyangga". If anyone finds out that Chae Seon is a woman, Sin Jae Hyo and Chae Seon will both face death.

In both dramas, the FL enters a fictional world. In “The First Night with the Duke” the FL enters a romance manhwa while in “W” the FL enters an action manhwa. In both, the appearance of the FL significantly changes the plot line, and their involvement in the story turns the FLs into main characters of their respective worlds. Both dramas have a bit of action, romance, and comedy— so I highly recommend them if you’re looking for a good show to watch!!
