"Loneliness first begins with love"
This story is about how the love between a married couple has grown cold until one day, the husband dies. The wife having grown used to the empty marriage, feels numb to his death. But on Christmas day, the wife stumbles into a worm hole and travels back to the past. She gets to meet her husband from 15 years ago, the day they first met. This is where the story starts.The story deals with the idea of rushed marriages without proper communication, what it means to take something for granite, what's more important than living, and what would you do if you knew your fate? This movie deals with may complex layers of love and yet it shines in all the slow moments. Sincere and shy interactions, dialogue full of life, and characters that you grow connected to. This is a beautiful love story of romance and life.
I also want to mention that this movie had one of the most compelling intro scenes I've ever seen. It felt sudden and that was the horror. One second, he's thinking how it makes sense for death to come suddenly, but his final thought is still "Please, wait." (not a spoiler it happens within the first minute of the movie)
For the movie to end with a love letter is the most beautiful cycle. For the ending to not be grand, to not be as extravagant as time travel, but to be as simple as spending every day together - loving all the details, all the small moments, and treasuring each one as grand.

Very beautiful yer very painful
I really love how the main reason the wife goes back to the past to save her husband isn’t love, but anger. Yet that’s exactly what makes the story so beautifully painful.There was one scene that wrecked me off, the dialog was so beautiful but very painful to listen to.
We can not say its a sad ending but it feels like its a sad ending because i cried a river.
Well its a happy ending. Its a nice story. Very beautiful

Beautifully Heart wrenching Plot
Screenwriter Sakamoto Yuji did it again!!! Team up with Director Tsukahara Ayuko makes it more cinematic.. Both delivered great ecstatic cinematography and scriptYou can't change the fate but in-between life so that you don't regret and create more happiness.. She time travel many times just showed how much she loved her husband.. It was unbearable to watch but her effort definitely make changes..
Also the chemistry between Takako Matsu and Matsumura Hokuto are really great.. They looked perfectly fine with each other and showed remarkable performances..
It was bittersweet feeling but in a good ways.. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I don't care about anything else. I just want to love you and choose you, over and over again
The movie *1st Kiss* really made me cry; the concept and everything about it were deeply moving. It portrays two people who want to be together despite being far from perfect—in fact, they were a bit of a disaster as a couple. During their initial fifteen years together, they struggled because neither was willing to set aside their pride; they didn't ask the other to be kind or affectionate, instead operating on the assumption that "you should just know this on your own." She was a truly wonderful person—patient and enduring—who kept coming back to save him, even when he treated her poorly; this proves just how deeply she loved him. Seeing him again could have made her focus on his flaws, yet she didn't. Even though she knew his personality and what to expect, she looked at him with eyes that overlooked his shortcomings—such as the way he dealt with his incredibly difficult boss Take the servant, for instance; he might seem simple or even boring—in fact, she herself said, "Suzori-san talks about dull things, yet somehow it feels entertaining." It’s truly remarkable; she loves him deeply, flaws and all. In the past, he may have been cold and abrasive—perhaps because he was working a job he disliked just to earn money, or because he found Kana annoying—but despite that, he loved her immensely. I should mention that he fell in love with her more than twice; every time she rewound time and returned to the present, he fell for her all over again—he loved her about five times in total. He is truly wonderful. It also tugged at my heartstrings when—after realizing she was his wife from the future—he said, "I don't want a divorce." He acknowledged his past harshness, yet he chose her again. He even chose the manner of his own death—a deeply humane choice—and ensured she had the best fifteen years of her life And he has The message at the end of the movie made me sob out loud. It was a truly wonderful film—not at all off-putting—and the acting was superb. Thank you so much for this movie.Thanks to everyone who read this; that was my opinion on the film.
