Secret Love

the main characters are the same and you will still get the same excitement as you did watching Secret.

Both female leads are blamed for the death of the male lead's girlfriend. But in Secret, the female lead doesn't really killed the girlfriend of the male lead, she just took the responsibility for what her fiancee did. Also, both aggressive male leads.

As I was watching Mask, I kept thinking it's kind of like Secret. Then I found it's from the same writer. The main thing about both is the evil guy is really evil.

Both has a Chaebol with a dysfunctional family who is supposed to marry for M&A. A girl from a middle-class family with cooking skills, and has a lawyer boyfriend who has wronged her in. Both are by the same writer.

In Secret the male lead falls in love with the female lead thinking she killed his girlfriend. In Crazy for You the leads fall in love only to find out that he was the one who killed her husband.

*great acting
*sizzling chemistry between leads
*more mature storyline/painful past/etc
*ML has a lot of rage due to their past
*FL takes a lot of crap from ML because she understands how hurt he is

The plot is quite similar based on revenge and how the guy falls in love to the lady who he thinks killed his fiance.

Both have similar vibes with the storyline of Ji Sung is trying to find justice for his lost lover/wife. Both are fantastic and if you like one you would like the other.

Both deal with a male lead who lost his love and child, blames a woman for it, falls for her while getting revenge. Secret is a little lighter on the abusive side.

Both drama have a strong female character that endure hardships and trahisons before finding true love.

Revenge stories where the male lead hates/takes revenge on the female lead but ends up falling in love with her and how the revenge affects their relationship/will she forgive him?

Both deep and fascinating dark, emotional melodramas.

Both females end up in prison their husband's are big jerks. A lot of drama going on and want for justice. In Secret female lead has harder time with life back from prison. (my personal opinion but Secret is way better even if it is older kdrama I recommend it a lot)

Both the Female Leads lead kinda similar lives from serving their sentence to the child-birth.

They both are about revenge and the main leads take the blame for what their lover's wrong doings because they can't picture their lover in jail.

2 episodes into the drama and bAAm! its like secret. i recommended "crazy for you" first because the synopsis made me think it like that, but boi no. its absolutely like secret. crazy for you would also make a good recommendation tho.

1. in TDA FL is rich. has problems with her dad, just ML in Secret
2. ml's girlfriend in TDA and FL's boyfriend in secret actually cause the accident but the leads take the blame
3. in secret FL is pregnant in jail. where as in TDA ml's girlfriend gets pregnant. either way potential parents both. fl in secret gives birth and her kid is taken away
4. fl's boyfriend is the main villain in secret. dunno abt tda, havent watched that far but synopsis says she's dead

either way!! both are an absolute watch. matter of fact, all the three, "secret" , "deadly affair" and "crazy for you" . might as well add " kleun chiwit " in the list
