Boyfriend on Demand Episode 8 Reactions
This drama has been so brilliant so far that I’m honestly impressed. It’s not like your typical plot twists.Usually, romance dramas are linear and follow a one-sided narrative with a limited focus. Most of the time, the viewer only follows the female lead’s journey, and at most, we get a bit of the male lead’s background. This drama, however, developed both of them simultaneously. You can actually see the male lead’s growth throughout the episodes, and there are specific moments dedicated to showing his evolution. In most dramas, this "development" is superficial and happens out of nowhere: a sudden "click" where he starts liking her but just won't admit it. Or, at the very least, the viewer knows he’s interested from the start. It’s usually very obvious when the feelings begin. This drama is all about change. The female lead didn't want to date anymore after her breakup, and the reason for that breakup was "change". Because the couple became different people, they ended things. So, for her, "change" became a sensitive, hated, and avoided topic. And that is exactly what surprised me the most. Change is treated as something positive here, despite the lead’s past trauma, and we get to witness it happening. In the first episode, the male lead has a total "grumpy face". You wouldn't even know he was the main lead if it weren't for the usual camera focus. But as the story progresses, he becomes softer and lighter. Eventually, we start to understand his side because the drama actually shows us his thoughts and POV at some point. This development was so subtle yet present that when the first kiss finally happened, it gave me such a "warm heart" feeling. It wasn't hype. It felt like coming home after a long day and putting on comfortable pajamas. I cried when they cried.P.S.: It really annoyed me when the female lead started avoiding him after giving him green lights. I felt so bad for him, especially after seeing his POV.----------------------------------------------------Até aqui esse dorama foi tão genial, que estou impressionada.

Episodes like this is what makes a person hate the FL. She doesn't have to like him at all but she's mad at him b/c SHE has feelings for him and she's living in a fanstasy world where he's never going to change. Mi Rae really pissed me off. Change is constant!! This is something I had to learn as a person who hates change.

It was long overdue, and finally it happened.
Angst filled chemistry between the leads was everything. Great episode. Loved it.
Also our Mirae's friend seemed to start her chaos as she have got the taste of Boyfriend on Demand.
Also loving the End Credits song now.

The drama really ramped up here. The scene starts acting weird and showing her stuff from her real life, which was kind of creepy but also made for a great story. It forced her to stop hiding in the VR world and actually look at what was happening right in front of her. The tension was crazy.

Enjoyed this episode a lot, especially the thoughfulness about the Christmas tree.I didn't really like the ending though, it felt prett random. Them crying out of nowhere and then suddenly kissing.
