SAD THAT IT ENDED T~T
Why.... why did it have to end?? I wish I could continue to see there life together..... *sniff sniff*I do have to say that some scenes were kind of goofy which was actually nice because it made the series less dramatic and intense.
The only fight scenes that were actually good in my opinion were the ones with War and Yin, the other ones were a little silly.
I loved the build up for the romance between Jack and Joker! The tension, the hidden feelings that were about to explode, the moments where they felt like it was just the two of them against the world? AHHHH, yes please!!!! They are just so hot together lol.
No matter what, Jack will always forgive Joker and Joker will always try to make it up to Jack. They fight for each other and they love each other very dearly. Where can I find that?? T~T
Also, can I get a different series where Prom and Mark get together??? I saw their small interaction in Love Mechanics and I think I saw a little something between them even though Mark was only on screen for 7 seconds lol.
Anyway.... LOVED Jack&Joker!! MASTERPIECE >~<

THIS DRAMA IS GOLDDDD
Guys if you haven't watched it yet... GO AND DO IT RIGHT NOWWWWWW!!!the slowburn is slowburning but it's SO worth it. this bl literally changed me like nothing else and now i have an unhealthy obsession with yinwar (but i'm not complaining tho, they're so fire) š„š„š„
first of all the story is so so engrossing. not only is the romantic part AMAZING and dare i say - very fresh in the bl industry, but also the overall story brings your attention and makes you keep wanting more. i love joke's different images, the characters' character development - everything is perfect! of course some things could've been done better, but judging by the fact that they had only 12 episodes and the story was intense, i still think they did an excellent job. in my opinion it's something extremely fresh and exciting in the bl industry - not serving everything in the first ep. you need to wait for it and go through the tension building up between the main characters. i can say i totally fell in love with jack and joker and i haven't been so invested into a bl probably since i had watched kinnporsche.

Got me in the first half but didn't live up to the hype.
Believe me when I say that I had been waiting for this one so bad! I am always up for Action/Romance BL genre. But this one literally had max action, min romance. The romance literally felt like side quests. Within all the 12 episodes, I bet if we had a cut for just the romance of the main couple it wouldn't be more than 30 minutes or even less. Now about the plot, I had high expectations. I was hooked till ep 6, but then it started to deteoriate. All the heists just seemed more and more predictable. I had great expectations from the character Nang. Really thought she could be some kind of evil mastermind, but no. She suddenly turned good once she or her post was in danger like??? Also the whole plot about the ring seemed so forced kinda like something abrupt. The suspense was not giving. The twists in this plot were just not twist-ing. The plot seemed so dragged with the RosƩ plot, the games, the thefts, etc.
Also, the dad just neglecting Joke and then ignoring his existence, but then suddenly becoming good didn't make much sense. He could have gotten Joke the necessary help he needed instead of blaming him for everything.
While the plot had many holes, there take on showing how the rich undermine the lives of the poor people and debtors to a game, playing with their lives and hard earned money was good, just the execution at the end was not upto the par. Had this drama been a little bit darker instead of comedy(barring the action) maybe I could have taken this more seriously.
The character Jack specifically got on my nerves. Bro was so gulliable and naive like seriously! Every truth is laid in front of him and he just ignores it. Bro didn't even stop to think that his Grandma fell ill after right after taking the medicine Boss gave them, like please use your braincells!!!!
Waršš» hands down the best part of this series. He himself makes up all the 8 stars in acting. The way he captures all the freaking emotions so effortlessly. He got me hooked. His visuals are no joke and he somehow made even the goofiest of disguises look darn good. His acting is top notch and I hope he gets better scripts in the future. (Where War's character finally doesn't cry over Yin's characterš)
Can we talk about the Aran/Tattoo ship. They teased us so much and gave us almost nothing!!! Literally nothing! Also the chatacter Tattoo, they could have done more with him. I mean damn you have a scientist in your team, use him properly!
Overall, I was lowkey expecting something like the Manner of Death series, but really it was my fault for expecting too much. This drama was more action/comedy and maybe a little romance whenever they felt like it. Toi Ting and Grandma were the real mvp.

This Show Gave Me Whiplash
This was the first series I've watched with these actors so I viewed it without the bias of being a fan of any of them.Things this show did well:
Casting - Everyone really brought their characters to life and did well with what they were given. The leads had great chemistry. Grandma's actress really tied the whole show together with her charm and acceptance. Toi Ting's actress was cute without being annoying. The actors playing the friends were quirky and interesting even if the characters they portrayed didn't have much growth. I do have to call out the surgeon with shaky hands, though.
Acting: There were really great performances. It wasn't always great across the board, but I'd say on the whole that it was acted well.
Settings, Costuming, and Makeup: I thought the settings and costuming really added to the show. Not just Joke's costumes but also the costumes for the other characters. I felt like each character really would wear what they wore in their various scenes. I also liked that the actors weren't caked in makeup and looked more natural, unless it made sense for the character to be wearing makeup. Jack's home was really inviting and warm and contrasted well with the more posh locations.
Heart: The time, energy, effort, and heart that went into making this show really does come through. It's obvious that everyone gave it their all to bring this story to life. This isn't a show with more simple production like one with a uni/school/office setting. It is ambitious with many complicated scenes.
Things that didn't work for me:
Logic/Reason - It pretty much doesn't exist. Why did this thing happen? How did that thing happen? Where did the resources come from for that thing? How does the timeline line up properly? Don't worry about it and just believe that it did. Joke got hired as a makeup artist for a wealthy client who then happily showed this stranger daddy's secret treasure room? Believe. Characters ended up relocated out of town with little time or resources to get them there? Totally happened. These guys had the resources to make cool stuff when it's established everyone is poor and in debt? Believe. The whole scene in the bank? Just trust. Joke totally just got lucky enough to find the camera that Tattoo threw on the ground without his knowledge while he was hiding in the cooler? Sure thing buddy. It continues through the entire series. Shows with elaborate schemes and heists are so much more enjoyable when they make somewhat logical sense.
Lack of editing - Ever read a really long fan fiction and start feeling like the author needs an editor to reign them in and tighten up the story? That's what this show began to feel like after a while. There were episodes that were movie length and could have definitely used some editing. The entire show is nearly 15 hours long and could have been trimmed to make it more concise and impactful. I'd start by trimming the fight scenes. There were way too many, they went on for too long, and they were so unrealistic you'd think the characters had super powers with the kinds of beatings they took and just kept going.
Identity - This show couldn't decide what it wanted to be. Comedy? Action? Heist show with a clever mastermind? Romance? Social commentary? Heartwarming family drama? It tried to be all the things, and as another reviewer said, all the tone shifts didn't work. Yes of course, shows can blend multiple genres together, but there wasn't good blending. There were some pretty brutal and dark scenes in this show that came without warning. The comedy was also not the kind of comedy I find funny.
Continuity - My brain gets hung up on continuity errors and won't let go, so the scene where Jack is cleaning the Joker Thief symbol off the garage wall really stuck with me. There were other places where continuity was lacking, but that one was the most egregious.

Jack and Joker- A Masterpiece That Redefines Thai Series ā A Must-Watch
If someone ever asks me for a Thai series recommendation, Jack and Joker will 100% be my first pick! From start to finish, itās honestly a masterpiece. The cast, the story, the acting, the visualsāeverything just came together perfectly. Itās not just good; itās hands down one of the best Thai series Iāve ever watched, and itās comfortably sitting in my top favorites.Massive shoutout to Tee Bundit Sintanaparadee, the genius director behind this gem. The way he planned and executed every single scene was just brilliant. The storytelling was smooth, the pacing was perfect, and there wasnāt a single moment where I thought, āUgh, maybe Iāll skip this.ā Nope, this series had me hooked every second, and I loved every bit of it.
And oh my god, the cast and production teamāyāall are amazing! The actors nailed their roles so well; they made me feel every single emotion like I was right there with them. And the production team? Wow. The effort they put into making every scene look so stunning and setting the perfect vibe was incredible. You can just tell how much love and hard work went into this.
Jack and Joker has literally everything you could ever wantādrama, emotions, insane performances, and visuals that will stay in your mind forever. This series is honestly in a league of its own. If you havenāt seen it yet, youāre seriously missing out. Itās that good!

Laughable Heists full of plot holes. Great Leads chemistry is not enough to save the day.
Subjective Gut Rating: 7.75Objective: 8.0
The greater the expectation, the greater the disappointment. This is what happened to me with āJack & Joker: U Steal My Heart!ā. I really like the general premise of the drama, with a focus on the social and economic inequality and struggles of people who live in Suphanimit. I thought this might be a somewhat serious drama that gives me a different Thai BL, amongst the sea of rom-coms and school dramas. I was expecting a drama similar to āNot Meā with excellent chemistry between the leads, Yin and War. Unfortunately, this is definitely not āNot Meā but I do like the chemistry between Yin and War. I just canāt believe itās rated higher than āNot Meā.
However, just relying on chemistry alone is not enough to keep me interested. It was a slow start for me. I enjoy learning the background history of the two leads. Their relationship also develops slowly but evenly paced. I donāt need a lot of skinship (not that I donāt like it) but the emotions and chemistry are there. And thatās enough for me. Warās acting is amazing and I look forward to his future dramas. Yin is not quite there yet especially in earlier episodes, but I see improvement along the way.
I also just canāt get past the cheesy and uninteresting heists, and numerous plotholes. Joker is supposed to be Robin Hood. Stealing from the rich and sharing the wealth with the poor. Heās supposed to be a genius mastermind thatās hard to catch. But the few heists that he cooked up are laughable. Theyāre not well-thought out and basically just wing it and pray for luck to be on their side. The comedy isnāt working for me. Many commented on the tone change from serious life-threatening injuries and threats, to comedic moments of fighting like you are invincible and can pull a rabbit out of a hat anytime to solve the problem.
I thought the villain was a worthy, cold-hearted meanie, but he turned out to be an over-the-top clown. Whatās with the Four Horsemen? Whatās their background? Are they powerful only because they have money? There are plot holes and easy forgiveness/redemption everywhere. I question Jackās intelligence in blindly believing in the boss for 5 years. Does he never question that the boss is a big bad wolf, just by what heās been ordered to do to those in debt? Yet he continues to blindly believe the boss will help him out of the goodness of his heart? The fight scenes also arenāt very believable, the taekwondo fights are definitely better than the gangster fights.
It is partly my fault because I canāt turn off my brain and just enjoy the chemistry of Yin and War. I really enjoy their stories, their fight for independence, and their development, bond with their families and healing. I want to see them rise up to the top and live happily ever after. Thereās so much good, but overshadowed by poor writing. Luckily, thereās always grandma and the little sassy girl to provide me with comfort.
If you are looking for a high quality, serious drama about social change like āNot Meā, then this is not for you. But if you are fans of the leads, and donāt like a sillier plot and enjoy the ride, this is OK. I debated whether to rate this by rounding up to 8.0 or rounding down to 7.5. Ultimately, I was bored at the end and was finishing the last couple episodes, just to finish the drama. Therefore, itās a 7.75 rounding down to 7.5 for me.

Hoy - he is so cute ,innocent and dumb person,But Sometimes he is more intelligent than others and talk meaningful

Jack :): Joke
Look started with a bang and not going to sugar coat it, it had a ton of weaknesses. A lot of things that didn't work for me personally, the fact that next to YinWar I got so attached to Hope and Save , and there were times when you will be screaming YOU HURT MY BABY PLEASE JUST TAKE ME BACK TO HIM FFS and then you'll get some crumbs at some point that were never quite satisfying but hey, I figured it was because of the length of the season being only 12.The second thing was at times the writing is weak and other times it's good and most side characters , not all but most, if you get attached, the characterization was weak.
Even Carbon's character should have been a lot more frequent because it was chaotic and entertaining like Hope.
Look, who doesn't love yet another iteration of their favorite established couple?
It's YinWar , they have chemistry! And I waited so long after being left with some major proverbial blue balls when that video of them came out that gets you excited holy shit YinWar are going to be in this crime fiction bl! Just to realize it's was merely a promotion for their concert.
And then this happened at long last, and yes it's natural to have high expectations.
I'm a sucker for enemies to lovers, slow burn, crime fiction, all of it!
But my main issue with this particular story was that at the very least one of them should have been proper 'bad' especially Jack, because that whole thing where he's actually trying to help people afflicted by Boss, instead of actually being a loan shark made his character weak because it was just Joke's character then who started fucking up. But even his character for the most part remains the same good vs evil thing.
Another thing that wasn't working for me, the whole school thing. It would have been okay if it was just something they did sparingly but they didn't.
So I m seeing a lot of divided opinions about the special episode, which I'm just going to tell you this: you want something cutesy with YinWar don't watch the special and stay delulu for as long as possible. I didn't and now I'm fucking suffering. Anyway jokes apart for me personally, holy shit, it was damn dark and SO MUCH ANGST! Freaking loved it.
Also I felt bad for Boss's son too even though he was spoiled and awful to Joke and the rest along with Hope, I didn't mind so much, though again his character is weak still I got into it and feel bad about all the bullying he received even from the friends.
I didn't ship him with tattoo. Just again weakly written characters.
What I did like the whole games bit and the loan shark arc because half the time it's a bunch of hot people doing some pretty decent action, getting severely beat up, or crying. Angst and hot people getting bloody. Is my jam.
And the fact that it goes from dark and angst to crack levels of comedy. Love all the cutesy wholesome stuff . These folks even nailed the sound track.
Also the whole arc with Grandma, and even Joke's family and his father, loved it! Angsty but goodie.
And now for my opinion on the special episode which I'm just going to call finale.
I was HEARTBROKEN.
I just had a bad feeling when Nang gave the predictions about them being fated and when Joke said something like no matter what happens and where I end up, I will find my way back to you. I knew that was sus ! I was fucking terrified.
The MOMENT Carbon and the casino folks started beating the shit out of the friends, I knew it. Knew what would follow when Carbon practically pulls joke away and by then I was already crying and then he takes Joke near the water and I knew something was going down and as expected.
I knew it would happen and still a veteran like me I was crying .
Just gets worse from there.
Just watching Jack just suffering was damn so painful to watch and experience.
The way he got so fucking delusional it breaks your heart.
And then even I have no idea what the post credit scene even made me feel tbh.
I just remember screaming and additional tears.
That is all.
End of Rant/review.

? Iām STILL not over Jack & Joker ?? ?
Okay listen⦠Jack & Joker is one of the best BLs Iāve ever watched and I will stand by that FOREVER. Season 1 had me hooked from the start ā the tension, the longing, the stolen glances šš„ Like?? Their chemistry was insane and the emotions felt SO real. But THEN⦠they dropped that special episode and I swear I almost cried just from seeing them again. It felt like it was going to end in total heartbreak ā I was already mourning ā but somehow⦠they gave us just enough hope to heal my heart š„¹š It was emotional, yes, but not devastating. It was like the writers knew we couldnāt handle pure sadness, so they left us with a little spark of āmaybe things will be okay.ā
Also the acting?? Underrated. The vibes?? Immaculate. The soundtrack?? Straight to my playlist š¶š
If youāve ever loved someone so deeply it hurts, this series will speak to your soul. I love Jack. I love Joker. And I love their story. Please give this series more love because it deserves the world.
ā 10/10 from a forever fan ā Arianna š
