Romance fraco e sem história, mas divertido!

achei meio sem criatividade para a história e o romance foi bem fraco, DO NADA se amavam e os caralhos.

I've seen people giving mix review about…

I've seen people giving mix review about this drama, more lower rating than higher but i have given a solid 8.5 rating, so here the reasonsTo me i personally really enjoyed the drama specially first half of the drama, watched 8 ep in a day it was that interesting, up until the ming dynasty chef competition the pacing was really good, then the drama went uninteresting, a bit, hence i skip few seconds or scenes except for important one. I did not personally hate the ending or i liked the ending kinda i was kinda neutral. What i liked about show was the cooking elements or the each dish has its on own episode, how she made the dishes, the edits of character eating her dishes, nice work editors, maybe first time watch that kinda show where there is more focus on cooking in a drama ( i do have seen mr queen but the it's plot was more interesting so i didn't much focus in cooking or maybe cooking genre here handled here better i guess).I am impressed with main male lead, thank god no second lead. The actor really did amazing job in last ep, during fl died in his timeline or transport to her timeline, the actor genuinely made me feel sad on that moment nice work, the way he cried feels real like it touched my heart, idk how could i explain that moment seriously,

Nice ep to end the series and have a happy ending not that it was necessary for me to enjoy. It was also nice seeing the kitchen staff in 2025!

all the bad-guys got their comeuppance - really…

all the bad-guys got their comeuppance - really liked that Gong Gil avenged his sister & was the one to punish Mok Ju, it seemed very fitting. & even though i am sure everyone loved the ending we got. personally i think it would be more fitting that after Ji Yeong lost her life & the book activated it's magic, she would disappear not the book. ****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************sorry but from that part onwards it was b.s. IMO - i get wanting a 'happily ever after' but come on - 1. the book can't disappear, for the main fact that Ji Yeong needs to get her hands on it in the future. so it has to remain in the past & pass through whomever until Ji Yeong get ahold of it. - 2. Ji Yeong waking up with the scar - sorry but either they could've made it look like she injured herself in the airplane - so it was still healing. but the way it looked, there no logic in it. & the worse bit - 3. the King traveled through time - how?!? just wishful thinking made it happen??? & let say him wishing really hard brought him into the 21st Century - yet he hasn't raised any alarms? there no country where people can just exist without documentation, let alone money. & he popped-up into a country bordering another, where someone undocumented who is Korean & speaks the language can mean a spy or worse. also he didn't look like a hobo, where he get the money to look so well groomed & clothed?!? & how he gonna make a living? be Ji Yeong kept man??? a reach IMO. **************************************************************Ji Yeong popping up in the past is less of an issue, as there were no records kept then - especially not of the average (non connected, moneyless, powerless) civilian's. but in this age, the idea is ridiculous - too fancifully for my liking. ***********************************************************************************************************************************************************this was a great drama until this ending (which soured thing for me) even though it was just 12 ep's, the plot was well thought-out & acted. there wasn't a boring moment or a moment where i felt this is unnecessary.... & would be perfect if not for the ending ugh... but it is what it is & i am sure i will rewtach this, cause this was fun to binge watch & loved a lot of the character's.

Get the tissues!

The ending was so beautiful! I must say the effort the actor @ Mr Lee Chae Min has put forth is amazing...he has portrait the character so well, his behaviour, acting and dialogue delivery is to be appreciated. ... the ML our @Miss Im Yoon ah was also amazing in her part of justifying the role, her expressions were on point. There is not a single acting hole i could find everyone has done amazing job in making this a wonderful drama. I would definitely suggest its a really entertaining watch. I understand many had comments on how its focuses alot on the cooking aspect but for me each dish she prepared was like an encourangement...the sheer dedication the ML has towards her passion and the way she manages to tackle any problem with her beautiful talent has given me hope to persue my own! Needles the director, writers everyone working behind should be appreciated.Again this is my pov and what i took from the drama. Everyone has their own opinion and i respect that. Finally for my kdrama peace of mind....im very happy the king has found his happy ending....poor guy was being tortured for nothing🥲....the bimbimbap (sorry if im typing it wrong) scene was really a dot connected. Though my delulu mind has settled to the fiction that this might happen and is a possibility(who s gonna tell me🥲) i hope when it does by that time i have a talent of my own to flex😌....thats all.HAPPY WATCHING!To Bon appétit team:- beautiful work ....please keep producing more beautiful things like this.

best ending.

This last episode was just perfect; i thought it rounded off the story in the Joseon era and we have a happy ending in the modern era. Perfect. I thought the ML was outstanding throughout and the FL was also great, infact i cannot think of a poor performance from anyone in this drama. much enjoyed.

Amazing!

I must say the ending was real fan service! I wish it was 16 episodes. I wish I know more about the reign of his brother and more scenes of his majesty cooking for FL. But for 12 episodes, thank you for a rollercoaster ride of emotion and gastronomy. I might have gained. A few pounds watching this!
