didn't think the 1st ep would be this…

didn't think the 1st ep would be this depressing, i get why "the people" want freedom, let alone wanna over throw the monarchy, but how bloody that is - seeing it, is a bit disconcerting. cause i can see both sides & there is no right or wrong. even though i am pretty sure General Kalong is totally on a power trip, there is no justification in executing the royals. that feels like over kill, not to mention he's talking about rules & regulations - some how, i feel like all of that is made up by him & he is taking immense pleasure in demeaning the royals, cause of some personal grudge. *******************************************************regarding Prince Saenkaew i feel for him, but i also see how desperate his father is, yeah manhandling ur son isn't the way to go but there is no other go for their family, as this isn't about his position or power it's about his families survival. so i can't fault him for the decision he came to, desperate times calls for desperate measures. (which makes me wonder how this gonna turn out as Prince Saenkaew can't marry Sasin, so what Pin gonna be the "beard"?!?) **************************************************& ironically Pin is in a similar situation, yeah she has a crush on Prince Saenkaew, but is that gonna help her in the long run?!? (the fact i know how this gonna turn out, makes me feel sorrier for her then Prince Saenkaew). the fact Sasin was actively flirting with Prince Saenkaew on the bridge, in the car - while Pin was oblivious to what was under her nose, is making me uneasy. he knows Prince Saenkaew is his cousins intended - he should know better. **************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************side note: Prince Kamfa shouldn't have given the trunk with the jewels & gold to his son for safe keeping, he should've given it to his mother - idk but have a bad feeling that the airheaded Saenkaew is gonna get robbed. *************************************also am 99% sure that the one in cahoots with General Kalong is Inthra, Prince Kamfa's younger brother. the has "bad guy" written all over him.

A Mesmerizing Start to a 1960s Thai BL Masterpiece 🌙

So many great Thai 1960s series have come out this year, including Shine and Khemjira, but I love Love in the Moonlight even more. The first two episodes were such a strong start and completely pulled me in. This is another excellent 1960s era BL, and the attention to detail in every scene is incredible. From the heritage houses and vintage cars to the clothing, dark tone, intense music, and beautiful cinematography, everything feels authentic. I was hooked from start to finish and immediately wanted more.Peak Prince Saenkaew’s performance is breathtaking. When he cried after being forced by his father to marry in order to protect the family wealth, it truly moved me to tears. His acting is so powerful and layered.Pear as Sasin is gorgeous and charismatic, and I cannot wait to see his chemistry unfold with the Prince. Perth, who plays Pin, is also stunning with her innocent and sweet presence. Her costumes are elegant and beautifully designed, adding to the richness of the series.Based on the trailer, once the sister discovers the truth about her brother and her fiancé’s love, the heartbreak and devastation will be intense, and I am so curious to see how it plays out. This might be one of my favorite Thai BLs of the year. It is so underrated, and more people need to watch it. I am thrilled we are getting two episodes per week, and I cannot wait for the next one.
