Both are Period BL dramas with similar sombre tone and atmosphere. The pacing are also similar. While LITM focus a lot more on the drama, IFYLTA bring a time travel twist to it.

Both dramas relationship triangles created by societal norms, and the male lead's actions and choices. One to mask his sexual orientation, and if the synopsis is correct for "Salak Rak Nai Saengjan" for procreation. Both dramas, using the female lead in some capacity. One tragic.
