RAP:PUBLIC invites you to a hip-hop survival world you have never seen before. It’s a real hip-hop survival show where the participants compete and survive using rap as their weapon. The rappers form their own 'blocks' and compete as a team to survive in a society disconnected from the outside world. In this society where cooperation and competition coexist, they can only decide their fate through games that use rap. The final winning block will be given 300,000 dollars as a prize and become the first owner of RAP:PUBLIC. (Source: Viu) Edit Translation

Reviews

finally some great korean rap
This show is perfect and the level is so high! It is refreshing to see such great artists in their elements without being censored. They talk about their struggles, and we can also learn to know them better (as much as a fan can ofc). It promotes Korean hip-hop and I hope people don’t mix this with K-pop and its industry. Yes those are 2 music genres but in Korea K-pop is a prebuilt “product” sold to make teenagers dream and help them go through their high school years. Rap is all about music! And because of this, thing to me is that I’d have hoped that artists like Lee Youngji aren’t part of this show! So that RAP artists can shine and don’t need K-pop to do so.Was this review helpful to you?
