Missing the depth but still interesting
I gotta write my thoughts down for the first two episodes before I forget them.....so, here I go ---The drama does 2 things well,
1. The set is beautiful and,
2. The pacing is good
But here are my problems with it : First and foremost, the costumes are average which I guess they are supposed to be but for me in a historical setting, costumes do make the biggest difference but here nothing impressed me.
Next problem being, the female lead's character being too damn skilled but at the same time stupid enough to intrude the home of somebody smuggling weapons....I mean, why? And the way she was carrying herself in that house, Good lord! I felt relieved when that policeman slapped her....like hell yeah! This girl deserves it.
Finally, my biggest complain the depth and emotional connection with the characters is missing. In the early 2000s, such dramas used to be atleast twenty episodes long, so technically, this would be started with child actors and we will be introduced to them and given time to absorb their traumas and you know, the patient kind of storytelling instead of being forced to swallow the same thing in like the net total of twenty five minutes. Its something that needed the devotion of atleast two hours and here is the thing ----- you can do that all by making it twenty episodes long and making the audience stick----that is the director's job.
You can't make an excuse for that, but the focus here seems to be totally on romance because that's the only thing that has managed to deliver the wanted impact yet. The chemistry is completely there and every scene was brilliantly written. Hopefully, by the time the series ends, I will be more emotionally attached to this series because it definitely does have potential.

im obsessed.
Episode one and im already obsessed. i first watched the trailer it got me hooked instantly then i was like why not start an ONGOING drama that only has 2 eps. my biggest mistakes cus now i have to wait and i genuinely CANNOT WAIT. the tension between those two i cant even, the chemistry wow they didnt even do anything romantic YET but whenever they are together it just theres smth between them i just want to unravel. i cannot wait for ep 3-4 and i hope this drama doesnt have a sad ending oh god bc its reminding me of "snow drop" for some reason also i hope it wont disappoint but again dragon studio made this it probably wont (?) i hope so i have faith in them cus their dramas are good honestlyWas this review helpful to you?

Seulement 4 épisodes et je suis déjà conquise !! L’histoire est tellement captivante, le casting est parfait et Kim Tae-woong… je meurs 😭❤️ J’adore le mood de cette série, il est vraiment différent de ce qu’on a l’habitude de voir et c’est justement ce qui fait toute son originalité. Pour l’instant, c’est un sans-faute ! Le seul problème, c’est que les épisodes ne sortent pas tous en même temps, je veux la suite maintenant 😭 J’espère que la suite sera à la hauteur, mais pour l’instant c’est un énorme 10/10 !!Was this review helpful to you?

o colar
Nesse último episódio revelou algo muito interessante sobre o passado da prota, aquele colar que foi dado pela mãe dela. Logo após tem uma cena do Sato Hideo com o mesmo colar, porém pela outra metade.Há várias possibilidades doq isso pode significar, mas oq mais vem na minha mente é q eles são meio-irmãos e a mãe dela entregou a outra metade a ele. Tbm pode ser que a própria """sohee""" tenha dado a ele quando mais novos (durante o período em que o Hideo tbm era saqueador) ou qualquer outra possibilidade, mas é isso oq mais vem a minha cabeça
