A must watch fast paced action comedy
I was an avid reader of the manhwa so I was curious and had some expectations to see how they would compress hundreds of chapter into 10 episodes and I must say, I was satisfied with the result.This series definitely had some major changes compared to the original work but I wasn't upset about it. The manhwa is much more dark and depressing and while the tvshow carried some of its darkness, it overall felt light and breezy which I enjoyed.
Lets start with the many positives:
1. The action choreography- The action sequences were top notch and the actors did a fantastic job with them. I replayed so many of those action scenes sonce they were just cool and fascinating to look at
2. The actors- I definitely appreciated every actor, from the main cast to the special appearances, they all did such a great job portraying their characters.
3. The cinematography- Since I mentioned the acting and the action sequences, I can't leave out the cinematography. I think the cinematography played a huge role in making the action scenes look amazing and the serious scenes look emotionally dense.
4. The soundtrack- I think the ost in action series tends to break or make the entire story because you definitely need a interesting soundtrack for those action sequences and what's an aura scene if it's without a cool sountrack, am I right ?
There were a very few negatives that I have to mention but they didn't deter tmy enjoyment that much:
1. The nonsensical nature of the storyline- You have to throw away your logic if you want to enjoy this show. Anybody can see that this story isn't realistic (excluding the school bullying, teacher/student exploitation etc) but it does feel refreshing when they tackle those serious issues in such a refreshing way
2. Some of the casting- Some of the supporting/ extra cast obviously seemed like adults whem they're supposed to be middle/high schoolers. I'm not saying to cast children in those kinds of tough roles (like for victims or bully roles) but some of the cast were just obviously older looking and that took me out a few times.
Overall, I would say this is a must watch if you're a fan of action drama comedies. The storyline had the essence and general plot of the original manhwa but was different enough for me to stay curious to finish it. I'll give this 9/10

A Powerful Call for Safer Schools
We need a bureau like ERPB. This series reflects the harsh realities of school issues like bullying and drug distribution, which can destroy not only student lives but also affect teachers and the entire school environment. The director has portrayed these problems with honesty. Every country should consider implementing a system like this to protect victims. We also need leaders like Minister Choi Gang-seok with the courage and vision to bring real change to the education system. The drama paints a chilling picture of an education system completely pushed to the brink. In an alternate South Korea where laws protect underage offenders to a fault, traditional educators have been rendered completely powerless. Bullying rings run rampant, protected by wealthy, hyper-influential parents, while teachers are forced into willful ignorance just to survive the school day. Enter the Education Rights Protection Bureau (ERPB), a rogue, government-sanctioned task force authorized to use physical intervention and unconventional methods to discipline delinquent students and corrupt faculty alike.THE CHARACTERS AND DYNAMICS:
The show thrives on its incredible casting chemistry, balancing brutal action with surprisingly heartfelt character work. Na Hwa-jin, the rugged, ruggedly handsome ex-Special Force captain turned lead field inspector. Kim Mu-yeol is phenomenal here, radiating a terrifying gravity. He doesn't just reprimand bullies; he systematically dismantles their sense of invincibility. Im Han-rim is another former commando who serves as the operational sharp-shooter. Her interaction with Hwa-jin balances the show beautifully, delivering a fantastic 'hyperactive black cat meets calm golden retriever' energy when they aren't cracking skulls. Bong Geun-dae, the KAIST graduate digital forensics wizard, adds a light, much-needed comedic buffer to an otherwise suffocatingly dark story. Choi Gang-seok is the mastermind Minister of Education who anchors the bureau's high-level political shielding.
HITS AND MISSES:
There is an undeniable 'power fantasy' element that works brilliantly. Watching a corrupt politician's son, who drove a classmate to suicide in Ep. 1, realize that his father's status can't save him from Hwa-jin's fits is intensely satisfying. Rather than chasing one bad guy for 10 episodes, the series adopts an episodic approach. It tackles everything from violent peer abuse and teenage social media influencers destroying faculty lives to illicit student gambling rings and organized youth syndicates. The hand-to-hand combat is crisp, tactile, and completely brutal. It doesn't romanticize the violence; it makes you feel the weight of every strike.
However, the drama's biggest strength is also its most glaring flaw, its ideological core. By showcasing 'eye-for-an-eye' physical retribution as the only way to save broken youth, the show flirts with a highly controversial stance on corporal punishment and authoritarian discipline. While it tries to save face at the end by showing the heavy psychological scars the team carries, and arguing that the narrative still overwhelmingly cheers for vigilante justice over systemic reform.
In conclusion, Teach You a Lesson is a masterfully directed, incredibly acted thriller that handles a highly sensitive subject with the subtlety of a sledgehammer. If you can stomach the intense violence and look past the morally gray might makes right philosophy, it is a phenomenal binge-watch that will leave you thinking long after the credits roll.

Right amount of everything
I love revenge dramas that have social commentary littered through it. And this one was so good. It was rightly paced and it tackled a wide range of social critiques. Though I could say that it could have gone on a little longer, made the final antagonist more challenging, the stakes a bit higher so to say. I did feel that plotline was a bit rushed but overall I really loved it.I loved the action scenes they were top tier.

Brutal, Over-the-Top, and Extremely Satisfying
This drama hooked me right from ep 1. It starts with horrifying bullying and a student’s suicide, so the atmosphere is dark and frustrating from the beginning. But then the ERPB inspector enters and starts beating the bullies up, and honestly… it felt insanely satisfying. After watching so many dramas where bullies keep getting away with everything, seeing them finally get punished felt refreshing.
The show is definitely over-the-top and unrealistic.. one man beating 20–30 thug students alone is crazy..
But I genuinely didn’t care because the drama knows exactly what kind of fantasy it wants to deliver: villains losing instead of constantly winning. Sometimes you just want to watch criminals and bullies get immediate karma instead of waiting until the final episode.
What I liked most is that the drama didn’t only focus on abusive students. It also showed toxic parents, corrupt systems, and adults enabling violence. Some episodes were emotionally frustrating, especially the ones involving manipulative parents and the pressure they put on their children. Hyeon Min’s mother drugging her own son for academic success and u jin's mother stalking the teacher were the most disturbing parts of the drama for me.
The female lead annoyed me at times especially her voice when she screamed was irritating.... she acted recklessly and wasn’t very strategic, but I did like her almost maniacal energy. The villains were genuinely infuriating, which made their downfall even more satisfying.
Overall, this show is not subtle, realistic, or emotionally delicate. It’s loud, violent, dramatic but that’s exactly why it works.
If you’re tired of watching bullies constantly win in dramas, this one is incredibly satisfying to watch. I honestly hope it gets a second season.

Very satisfying watch.
June 2026I loved this drama and the episodes simply melted away!
Yes it's violent, OTT, and causing controversy in its use of meeting fire with fire, regardless of the villains' age.
The pace is pretty fast and there's also humour to balance the tougher aspects.
A tragedy leads to a prominent politician setting up a specialist inspection team, that is sent into schools experiencing pupil issues that are out of control.
The main reason for doing this, is as much about protecting the right of other students to study and learn, as it is in providing them with a safe and protected environment in which to do that.
It's also about protecting teachers, who in many schools across the world now, can be in danger of losing their lives to a student, if addressing disruptive behaviour and violence.
It's not all about bad pupils, either; it's parents and teachers that stand in the way of these goals, that are brought to task too.
For me, the most difficult storyline was ep 6 on, and some completely evil juvenile delinquents, who hid behind their age, and were protected by an impotent legal system because of that. This, coupled with parents completely out of touch with them, who just wanted the atrocities of their offspring to vanish.
Parents who endanger their own children through emotional blackmail and control, or by actually supporting their behaviour, are dealt with, too.
A manipulative mother storyline was pretty hard hitting.
I felt this series is a platform that uses the beyond reality action scenes and story lines, to highlight the very real issues that exist for both good teachers and willing students, in schools everywhere.
Parents are shown as a sometimes major part of the problem, which is often all too true.
That the young are totally capable of manipulating, lying and being extremely capable in destroying the lives of others, is not fictional, either.
The team are so diverse, and whilst I initially thought Jin Ki-joo's character (Im Han-rim) would drive me 🦇💩 , I ended up loving her!
Seeing P.O (Pyo Jihoon of BlockB) in a drama again, makes me very happy, too... his character provides not a few giggles.
A totally captivating watch for me. Even yhough totally OTT it was so satisfying seeing those who felt no remorse, and had no intention of changing, get their just desserts, whilst others turned a page.

Masterpiece!
I'd read that the project had been heavily criticized, but I didn't dare hope it could be this good. It's incredible that it's being broadcast on Netflix, so I fear that after the perfect first episode, we'll be treated to the same immoral, nihilistic, heartless and mindless story that Western entertainment has accustomed us to for years.The reason I'm ecstatic is that in a world without any justice, seeing Good, Morality and Justice triumph on this Earth for once is something rare and satisfying. If the entire series maintains this moral (almost religious) clarity, this will be my most beloved series of 2026.
Don't be intimidated by accusations of "fascism" or "racism" (everything that was considered normal even in the 90s is labeled that way today). Those making the accusations are the same people who likely grew up in the West under the woke cultural hegemony of the last decade and who find nothing wrong with the constant misandry and insults directed at straight white men in every social and cultural context.
Similarly, those who are outraged when Evil is punished are the same people who find the killing of innocent creatures (through abortion) legitimate.
Look without prejudice and you will be fascinated by this masterpiece.

Aprendendo a Lição (2026) é um drama coreano espetacular que mistura negócios, comédia e uma crítica social de extrema importância. A trama aborda a crise na educação e a desvalorização dos professores, mostrando a criação de um departamento governamental focado em restaurar a ordem nas escolas.Por que a nota 100000?
Tema Muito Importante: O roteiro toca em uma ferida real da sociedade. Ver a autoridade dos professores destruída dá um aperto no coração, e o dorama aborda isso de forma corajosa e realista.
Protagonista Foda: O Na Hwa Jin é um personagem incrível. Ele entra em cena pelo Departamento de Proteção de Direitos Educacionais e bota ordem na bagunça de um jeito que dá gosto de assistir. Ele não tem medo e faz a justiça acontecer.
Equilíbrio Perfeito: Mesmo lidando com um assunto sério e pesado sobre problemas sociais, a série consegue colocar doses de comédia e drama na medida certa, prendendo a atenção em cada minuto dos 10 episódios.
Um dorama obrigatório, marcante e necessário para os dias de hoje. Nota máxima com louvor!

Je vais enfoncer des portes ouvertes en disant que répondre à la violence par la violence n'est pas une solution. Mais bon sang, ça fait du bien de voir les responsables prendre la raclée qu’ils méritent !Ceci étant dit, si la série s'ouvre sur un ton grotesque et sauvage, elle gagne en profondeur au fil des épisodes. Et c'est un pilier essentiel de ce drama. L’écriture ne repose pas seulement sur des gags et de l’absurde. Au contraire, elle ajoute des émotions, une évolution des personnages, une réflexion sur la justice et l’éducation, et apporte une forme de paix avec soi-même.
L'intrigue prend un angle intéressant, car elle ne condamne pas seulement les élèves. Elle met aussi en évidence des parents toxiques, des professeurs corrompus et des systèmes défaillants. Avec un nouveau cas pour chaque épisode, cela permet d'explorer différentes situations. De plus, la série s'arrête avant de tomber dans un cycle répétitif. Elle mérite amplement un 8.5 sur son scénario (je n’ai pas lu le webtoon original, je ne connais donc pas les changements effectués par Lee Nam Gyu). Espérons qu’elle s’arrête à une saison unique.
L'ensemble du casting est remarquable du début à la fin ! Élèves, parents et les membres de l'ERPB, tous sont excellents. La mise en scène est efficace avec une musique énervée quand il le faut, ou au contraire plus calme. Les scènes de combat sont entraînantes et dynamiques, exactement ce qu'on attend d'un tel drame.
En bref, Teach You a Lesson est un drama absurde et irréaliste, mais c'est précisément ce qui rend l'histoire si efficace avec une évolution profonde tout au long des épisodes, et un casting remarquable.

Um dorama para Refletir
Maratonei o dorama Aprendendo a Lição e posso dizer que me surpreendeu. O dorama aborda um tema pesado na Coreia que é o bullying, ou seja, a violência escolar, a perda da autoridade dos professores e os limites entre justiça e vingança dentro do ambiente escolar.A série acompanha uma equipe criada para lidar com casos extremos em escolas problemáticas, trazendo muita ação, tensão e discussões morais ao longo dos episódios.
O dorama conseguiu me prendeu logo no primeiro episódio e cada caso apresentado desperta indignação e faz refletir sobre até onde alguém pode ir para restaurar a ordem. Os personagens são carismáticos, especialmente Na Hwa-jin, que entrega presença e intensidade em cenas.
Além da ação, a série traz críticas sociais importantes e não tem medo de mostrar situações desconfortáveis. Em alguns momentos, as soluções apresentadas podem parecer extremas, mas isso faz parte da proposta da história e gera bons debates. Valeu a pena o play!
