i know they are both a vastly difference story/plot but hear me out people
After sometime thinking about it, I finally understand why I have a soft for Hierarchy, despite this drama reputation
> FL and ML got into fake relationship
> FL experience a fresh and fleeting relationship with ML
> Even after all that FL still chose SML cause thats what she was USED to and FAMILIAR with
> At the end, it show, they both meet again, just for yet another goodbye lol ML still longing for FL after all that have happened
These development kinda remind me of one of my all time favourite movie, My Pretend Girlfriend.
Poor bastards still hold feeling for the 'cruel' FL despite everything .
"Why are we still here? Just to suffer?" T.T

Both movies have similar theme about friendship/unrequited love about young people pretending to be in a relationship. Each are of a slow pace and have interesting and beautiful cinematography throughout. Their endings are very different, but I still recommended this because the storylines are both realistic with characters shouting with authenticity.

Life isn't easy for a group of high school kids growing up absorbed in Japan's pervasive pop/cyberculture. As they negotiate teen badlands- school bullies, parents from another planet, lurid snapshots of sex and death- these everyday rebels without a cause seek sanctuary, even salvation, through pop star savior Lily Chou-Chou, embracing her sad, dreamy songs and sharing their fears and secrets in Lilyholic chat rooms. Immersed in the speed of everyday troubles, their lives inevitably climax in a fatal collision between real and virtual identities, a final logging-off from innocence.
All About Lily Chou-Chou follows two boys, Shunsuke Hoshino and Yuichi Hasumi, from the start of junior high school when they first meet and into second grade. The film has a discontinuous storyline, starting midway through the story, just after the second term of junior high school begins, then flashes back to the first term and summer vacation, and then skips back to the present.
