Poignant tale about second chance at love and in life

This drama was recommended to me by a reddit member as we discussed second chance romance dramas. I wasn't aware of this story but the given synopsis was intriguing that I watched it 2 days after the recommendation. It was emotional & thought-provoking - I enjoyed this drama immensely.

What I liked:
1. Writing - Wow, just incredible writing that led me to question life choices. I loved the mature handling of second chance, not just in romance but also at life. I empathised with FL for the tough decisions she had to make regarding her relationship with ML. I liked that fantasy seeped into the story.
2. Acting - Sublime performance by Zhang Xin Yi. I cried a few times because I felt FL's pain. Li Meng Yuan was great too although I wish he had cried when he found out about FL's struggles.
3. ML characterisation - I liked him for genuinely wanting to work on their relationship. He was a confident young man who was inept at expressing his feelings and concerns for FL.
4. Romance - The drama started with a spicy scene which later made me emotional. Post-reborn FL was hesitant in following what had been done before and I understand those feelings. ML seemed genuine in pursulng FL (he's not about chasing the unattainable) and slowly they build trust & confidence in their relationship. I must say the kissing scenes were hot - Li Meng Yuan demonstrated desire & lust very well. Oh and I liked the supporting characters' romance even though it was super short.
5. Supporting characters - Wow I am impressed with the little arcs given to FL's mother, her senior and ML's mother. I also liked the open-minded grandpa of FL.

What I disliked:
1. FL's father - There isn't an obvious antagonist for this drama but I guess FL's father could be called a baddie. He was selfish and that meeting with ML's mother was extremely embarrassing. He didn't care about saving face.
2. Bai Yingluo - This "white moonlight" tried to ruin FL & ML's relationship but good thing she had very little screentime.

Diferente da versão "Heart Meet You Again" com Huang Haowen e Zuo Yi (enviei para aprovação), essa versão "Gao Leng Xiao Cao Ta Cheng Lian Ai Nao Le" contextualiza melhor os sentimentos, sejam da FL quanto do ML. Mas como eu assisti os dois em sequência minha nota sofreu interferências de sentimentos, eu havia avaliado com 7, hoje ao reassistir as duas rapidamente porque reconheci o enredo pela resenha da emberzmars, eu vi o quão diferentes são e os motivos que me levaram naquele momento a querer esganar o ML. Mas hoje, talvez porque eu esteja também em outro momento da minha vida, consigo analisar mais friamente as ações, diferenças e sentimentos entre si.

O ML, interpretado aqui pelo Li Mingyuan, atua de maneira mais emocionante com suas expressões, analisando cada passo da FL para descobrir o porquê de cada sentimento dela e em relação a sua depressão. Já a FL, interpretada pela Ley Zhang, "transpira" a sua dor também pelas expressões, o que definitivamente ajuda a gente a sentir toda a sua dor em cada flashback e em cada receio em aceitar os sentimentos que tem pelo ML e sua perseguição.
E foi justamente esse ponto que me deixou em conflito e com raiva ao ver que no final, ela não havia renascido, mas que tudo foi um sonho projetado para que ela acordasse de seu acidente, então eu senti muito a sua dor pela realidade ser exatamente o que a afundou anteriormente.

Há MUITOS mal-entendidos e não se comunicar claramente realmente corrói os sentimentos e a vida da pessoa que está sofrendo em silêncio. Mas ao mesmo tempo, o desespero do ML com o acidente e descobertas até ele decidir entrar no sonho com ela, mostram que o amor por ela era realmente real, que ele só não conseguia se expressar, assim como ela.
O sentimento que eu tenho hoje em relação a essa versão é muito mais especial do que anteriormente, enquanto a outra versão me faz enxergar claramente que no sonho, ele realmente só tomou atitude porque ela se afastou e eu sempre penso que há coisas e pessoas que não tem segundas chances, principalmente quando se trata de depressão.
