When a 2025 love advice streamer gets pulled into a classic 1999 cheesy vintage novel, she meets her match, a CEO who's sweet on the outside but shrewd within. In the ultimate battle of romantic tactics, who will out-scheme whom?

To return to reality, Lin Huan Er tries every tactic to win over the cold-hearted Gao Hai Ming only to find herself falling for him. Can this cross-storybook couple write their own happy ending?

I’m pretty surprised to know that no one has recommend this drama here…. They are basically the same!!!

Well.. indeed the timeline might be different but still we have both leads traveling into the novel…

As for the remaining similarities… please do add more~~

One of the most obvious connections lies in the casting—both dramas feature the same male lead, Chen Xing Xu, which already sets a familiar tone for longtime viewers. Beyond that, the narratives themselves share a similar concept, as both explore stories set within a virtual or online world. While not strictly portraying ordinary real-life settings, these dramas present a form of digital or alternate reality that creates a comparable storytelling atmosphere.
Additionally, both titles fall under the modern romance genre. For audiences who enjoyed Love Between Lines, My Page in the 90s is likely to be an equally appealing watch—especially for those who have already fallen under the charm of Xiao Zhiyu.

Female leads go into a book, and they both try to make the male lead fall for them while following the script, but they way they go about it is different, which makes this a comedyso they both are rom-coms.

Perfect chemistry of main couple, interesting supportive cast
Happy, sad, fluffy drama
Strong confident king/CEO male lead
Cute but equally strong female lead
Two different time period / time travelling theme
And the ending gives the same feel in both dramas

Both FLs enter a fictional romance, finding an unexpected love of their own along the way.

Both drama's have a girl who is not in her environment being inexplicably linked to the Male lead who is cold, confident but there is more to him than meets the eye. There is lots of comedy and a bit of whimsy.
Lots of fun!

Workplace rookie Wang Cui Hua unexpectedly finds herself inside the world of a novel, where she crosses paths with Zhang San, another transmigrator—this time, a hidden king who has been biding his time for a decade. One struggling against fate, the other concealing power behind a façade, the two join forces to survive. As schemes unfold and alliances shift, they must face not only the dangers within the story but also the cruel prophecy that one of them will not live to see the flourishing world they’ve worked so hard to build.

The character's actions in the game/book are quite similar to the tasks, and the fact that there are rewards and punishments at the end is also similar.

If you enjoyed the 'I know the script, and I'm going to change it' aspect of My Page in the 90s, this is the high-stakes, historical version. It's about a woman reborn with knowledge of her past, like a villainous Empress. She spends the drama trying to outsmart everyone to avoid her original tragic ending. It's more intense but very satisfying for fans of 'meta' plotting.
