Sad yet beautiful story (TW: Rape) !
This is my first ever review after i opened this account!Quite rare for Chinese Short Drama to giving realistic and logical story about rape and trauma (Most of chinese short drama are overglorified rape scene into romance) and i cried watched this. Even the ending was satisfying and well-executed. They picture perfectly how bullying and rape can giving lifetime effect to FL and giving her health issue.
Chai Huixin proved me that she is not Green Tea specialist and her acting of traumatic person is convincing enough not being overdramatic. I dont watch Zhang Beixi drama (i would watch it later) and love his voice. How his character growth are quite fine for jerk CEO who bullied FL to humane CEO. Hats off to the Daughter, her acting is quite natural for normal children. Even SFL are not being bitch and help FL in the end. I love how the enemies got what they deserve in the end.
Rewatch material depends from my mood. If i want to cry i would watch this again. But if you dont have any triggering issue like rape issue, you can watch this at least once.

Sad story but well done!
First off… I have not done a review on here in a LONG time so bear with me… second, this story reminds me of the Max Factor heir who drugged and taped women. He got away with it for year because he was the heir to a large makeup company. He believed he was invincible because of his family and their money. They finally got solid evidence. He videotaped every encounter and kept them. They finally got ahold of them and he went to prison. Sad story but it is a true one. So this reminds me of that story. The rich thinking they are invincible because of statues and money! Sick.Storyline - was well written and very well acted! It was solid in my opinion. I loved the ending. I watched it twice now and skipped most of the first past this second time. I knew what happened I just wanted to get to the part I love the most… when he knows what really happened to her and stands by her even against his family and fiancé. Makes my heart melt and I cry with them. So sad what happens to the little girl but I LOVE that the jerk that was the ring leader got what he deserved in the end. Sad that the little girl had to pay the price for his sick actions. Loved how the ex-fiancé did not lose her humanity and actually helped the fl. I was really happy to see that! Most of these shows make the ex out to be so nonhuman.
Acting - sheesh where to begin? First, I LOVE Zhang Beixi! His voice is to die for! So deep and sexy. Yep I will say that because it is so true! His voice kind of reminds me of Kingone Wang! Now he also has a deeper sexier voice! But I could listen to both of them all day long! Ok enough of that! Zhang Beixi is an amazing actor! I have seen so many of his short dramas and I have liked them all! He can act all sorts of characters! He can show true emotion! He is just amazing! And very good looking! Melts my heart lol. The FL Chai Hui Xin is a really good actress also. She can play evil and good roles perfectly. I have seen a lot of her minis also.
Rewatch - is a 50/50 for me. I mean …I have seen it twice… but it is not one of those you would watch all the time. I am one to stay mostly away from tear jerkers. So I will watch it again but it might be a ways down the road. It is at least worth one watch.
