extremely real, extremely sentimental
family dynamics are incredibly powerful, especially when you're young. this series was phenomenalthis series is almost like a 2 in 1 - we get to see our main characters grow up together through their harsh reality, become each other's first real love, and also their adult lives, navigating the world around them. i cannot express how fucking cute these characters are. the awkwardness of not knowing how to approach eachother, make the first move, and the fear of being wrong are all so incredibly realistic and beautiful.
i have a lot of good things to say about this series. we see actual consequences, and an extremely convincing story unfold. consequences for being unable to reach, consequences for lying about a certification, and the consequence of choosing a first love over what's around.
the storyline was truly beautiful. i could see myself rewatching a good few times to really take the entire story in. i'm not a big fan of time gaps in general but this series might've changed my mind a little bit. we have to work for the happy ending - which means communication and answers.

To be honest, I accidentally clicked on this one and almost stopped watching at the start. I thought it looked a bit too indie and slow for me to get into. Luckily, I had nothing else to do, so I let it play in the background. Pretty quickly, I was swept up in the emotions of the film. It was so refreshing to watch a drama that didn’t feel overly scripted or follow the same old narrative. I guess it has a bit of an enemies-to-lovers vibe, but not quite.
I love how raw and rough around the edges it was, and how it started small. You really see how each emotional roadblock came about along the way. From being completely closed off due to a life of trauma, to slowly opening up and letting someone in. To wanting to break from the past and just be someone else. I could go on and on, but I’ll just say I highly recommend it if you’re looking for an emotional journey.

sentimental y actuaciones bien logradas
Hace mucho que quería ver esta serie, pero solo la dejaba para después, como siempre las producciones coreanas son excelentes y aunque los actores muchas veces son novatos, la verdad es que casi siempre hacen una elección de cast muy buena.Los protagonistas estuvieron perfectos, me encantaron los dos y fueron muy buenos en sus roles, me gustaron mucho las escenas dramáticas donde lloran porque lo hacen muy bien y todo se siente muy melancólico y dramático de buena manera.
Hubo momentos donde me perdía y algunas cosas eran confusas, pero al final entendí todo, la verdad es que no es una historia super compleja, pero retrata bien los sentimientos de como es pasar años lejos de la persona que amas, se siente la desesperación y el miedo de jamás volver a ver a la persona que amas.
Los bl coreanos siempre hacen todo muy bien, desde lo visual, las historias, el elenco y ese tono nostálgico que utilizan, creo que la música también está muy acertada y pega bastante con el propósito de la trama, que es hacernos sentir la tristeza de dos amantes adolescentes separados y que logran reencontrase en su vida adulta después de muchos años.
