Great Start, But Drags
This is pretty much the same as most of those other stories, where a woman discovers that she is not the biological daughter of the family and gets abandoned for the "real" daughter, with all the tropes that entails. I personally liked the first half -- the romance -- better than the second half. The second half seemed to drag on and I struggle to justify it existing. The last half could easily have been 30-45 minutes instead of a full 90. The antagonists are as stubborn and annoying as ever, but Zhizhi and her family are very cute. Overall the writing isn't too ridiculous and the acting exaggerated enough to be amusing rather than annoying. Was this review helpful to you?
