Far better than a few high budget dramas.
I’m sad that this drama has come to an end, but it will undoubtedly stay with me for a long time. Out of all the mini dramas I’ve watched in 2026, this one was the absolute best. The male and female leads delivered outstanding performances, and their chemistry was captivating. The ost, angst, love story, and romantic scenes were all executed flawlessly. About plot, the pacing felt slightly messy at a point and the ending felt a bit rushed but the main leads easily overshadowed these minor flaws. I liked Jesse Ren, but now I am a huge fan of Qi Yandi as well. I’m eagerly waiting for their second collaboration and truly hope it arrives soon.Was this review helpful to you?
A game that slowly slips out of control
What starts as a calculated plan quickly turns into something much harder to control, and that shift is what kept me watching. The whole dynamic is built on manipulation, hidden intentions, and a constant push and pull between the two leads, which makes every interaction feel tense, like neither of them is ever fully honest. I really liked the acting from both main leads, they carry the story well, and their chemistry is genuinely strong, especially in those moments where rivalry and attraction blur together. The plot twist was actually really good and added that extra layer that made everything more interesting and less predictable. Lan He Wei doesn’t stay passive and pushes back in a way that shifts the balance between them. At the same time, the story sometimes feels like it’s holding back, especially when it comes to fully exploring the emotional side of their relationship. You can feel the potential, but it doesn’t always go as deep as it could have. Still, the concept and their dynamic make it engaging enough to keep you watching.Was this review helpful to you?

Really interesting but some things weren't necessary
I loved this drama sm but the plot twist of her being xu meng really shifted my view of their relationship. I know he fell in love with her personality but it's a bit illegal to see him looking at her like that when she looks like her sister. overall the plot was really good and I really liked the second couple, I loved the OST and I have been trying to find it (so far I have only found one of them)I saw qi yandi in Falling into your smile as su luo for the first time and seeing her come this far makes me really proud of her, I love her acting as well as ren yujie

For a short length drama (~19 mins) its very good
I'm currently watching this, not yet finished.Okay, so my review is solely based on other short length dramas. And compared, to other short length dramas, this one is very good. The story doesn't really go in depth in like background story/info, which isn't necessarily bad. To be honest, because of the time it would be impossible to pull off, so the drama instead focuses on the main storyline. I really like the acting from both the main leads. Their chemistry is really good!!
