Took my breath away!!!!
I HAVE A FEVER!!My romance starved heart just yearned for a good romance drama like "The Prince is too Wild". This is a mini drama, but a kind soul put all the episodes together into a movie on Dailymotion in two parts. Worth every freaking second, especially involving the extremely strong, patient, badass, powerful and sexyyyyy male hero He Tingzhou and the way he oozed power and sex appeal just TOOK MY BREATH AWAY! The way he courted our innocent heroine Shuang Xu just gahhhhhh so darn sexy! The indecisive SML was a guy who could not entirely protect Shuang Xu the way he wanted especially if it was a threat against his parents in return, he was not a bad person and he did love Shuang Xu, but he is the hero who would sacrifice his love to save the world, while the more darker and sensual He Tingzhou is the villain who would rather burn down the whole world for his one true love. Sweetly spicy
This was a solid mini series for me. Captivating and romantic, an enjoyable watch.The ML is breathtaking, he was the reason I decided to watch it and he delivered. Great chemistry between the ML and FL too, sweet eye candy and watching them sends butterflies. I appreciated that the 2ML wasn't a bad character, very rare in mini series from my experience.
My biggest disappointment it that it is a vertical drama, I would have loved it to be the normal horizontal.

Digestible bites of drama
This is a vertical drama meaning it’s bite-size episodes formatted for phones. I was able to watch the full series in two parts Edited together on Dailymotion; links in the comments.It’s what you expect from these “soap opera” type dramas: lots of faces being slapped, lots of perfectly timed entrances, very stylized and perfectly filtered make up looks. Ultimately it delivers on what it promises. I lost track of how many grab-and-kiss moves there were. The 2ML was predictably indecisive, and the ML consistently saved the day while also showing the FL that he respects her choices. Definitely a guilty pleasure. But if you want steamy kisses !!! and drama that gets to the point, no time time wasted traveling from scene to scene, this is definitely the show to watch.

Interesting chemistry
I have watched both Zeng Hui and the FL in their other drama , "Madame President". They have GREAT chemistry in both dramas though this one I had to watch more to feel the chemistry. Madame President it was right away but I guess that story is lighter. Either which way, their kisses are always passionate and realistic, more so in Madame President.This storyline is interesting. Her pseudo brother was too wishy washy and did not man up to pursue her even though he liked her all this time. Oh well, you snooze you loose. She did mistake " gratefulness" for love because he was the only one who showed her kindness.
I didn't like nor was it realistic for her adoptive parents to be mean/dismissive her entire childhood and when the husband got into trouble "oh , by the way, I really care for you." Not realistic at all.
Anyway, the one thing I side eyed the story on is that the FL really never " showed" obviously falling for the ML. It was just told. She might smirk a little at a shared joke, tease him a little, but like even she thought in the end that she never took a " step toward him, to meet him" and he has been doing all the chasing. She is also too timid in relationships if she really started falling for him. Did they not say she had a boyfriend before. Oh well. All in all, I liked it. I hope the ML and FL make more dramas together.
Side note: I am still waiting on the full Madame President drama. They took it down on YT.

Beautifully shot scenes but the FL's behaviour led to lower rating
This version is the second adaptation of a familiar plot that I have watched. The first version I watched has Cao Tian Kai as ML & Zhang Shan as FL. I chose to watch this adaptation at the recommendation of few MDL users. This version is enjoyable but Cao Tian Kai-Zhang Shan version is better IMHO.What I liked:
1. Shots - The first item that impressed me is the shot of each scene. Vivid colours and great framing for a vertically shot drama. My favourite sequence of shots is when ML carried FL from living room to his room. Beautiful!
2. Music - I like songs featured in this drama that I even shazam-ed those unfamiliar to me (e.g. It's You by Sam Kim featuring ZICO). It's wonderful to hear 'See the Light' instrumental version in the drama.
3. Homage - The camping scene reminds me of kdrama 'When the Phone Rings'. Well there was that instrumental song played in the background.
4. Acting - Overall good performances from the three leads despite the less-than-brilliant writing of their characters.
What I disliked:
1. FL characterisation - Song Shuang Xu is too timid/passive and childlike for my liking. Yes, she's 22 years old but I've seen more proactive same-aged characters in other vertical dramas. At first I thought she was a socialite but I was wrong, there were scenes of her presenting proposal in an internal meeting and an event with invited guests & media.
2. Romance - FL did more receiving than giving in this relationship. There were some great kisses but almost all were initiated by ML so it felt one-sided most of the time until FL reaffirmed their relationship in front of her family.
3. Hostility - ML's cousin Lu Manman and FL's adopted mother were hostile towards FL at the start of the drama. In Cao Tian Kai-Zhang Shan version, these two characters were lovable so of course I compared the characters in two versions. I also disliked Lu Manman's friends/followers - I mean who wears skirt to campsite? I also disliked FL's grandpa who never raised her but had a lot of opinion on FL's life choices.

Swooning!
Both the ML and FL are absolute eye candy, and their chemistry made this drama so enjoyable to watch! I do wish it had been a bit longer—we barely got to see them truly enjoying the dating stage, and that would’ve added so much more charm.There were a few loose ends that left me wanting more. For instance, how did the brother eventually accept their relationship? It felt like a bit of a cliffhanger since he didn’t seem supportive. We also never got to see Tingzhou’s father, and his aunt—who seemed deeply involved in his life—felt like she had a backstory that was never fully explored. Surprisingly, the dad stayed completely out of the picture. As for the FL’s family, I can’t quite remember if her mom had passed or not, which shows how little that was developed.
That said, even with these unanswered questions and missed character arcs, I still really enjoyed the drama for its sweet and heartwarming moments between the leads. It’s a light and lovely watch if you're in the mood for romance and visuals!

Semelhante, porém...
O drama em si é bem semelhante ao Lure Step by Step com o ator Zou Ke Jun, a atriz Bao Zhi Yue e o ator que interpreta o irmão Gu Minh Han, porém...Meu Zou Ke Jun que me perdoe e nunca leia (kkkkkk), mas o que falar do Zeng Hui, gente?!
Ele é simplesmente perfeito para o papel hahahah Assim como o Zou Ke Jun. A combinação com a prota Deng Ling Shu foi muito boa, porque ela desempenhou um papel de ingênua/pura de uma maneira bem realista, mas nas horas de se posicionar, foi muito boa também.
Mas tentar não comparar tanto os dois dramas, mas para quem assistiu os dois é quase impossível deixar de pensar, o plot final deste foi realmente de deixar de boca aberta, pois o ML sem dúvidas desempenha bem o papel, digamos, possessivo com o que quer, e o confronto familiar, ao meu ver, deu um toque único e colocou a cereja no topo do bolo desbancando o drama anterior.
E eu simplesmente AMEI a maneira que o irmão descobre o romance dos dois, foi muito melhor e "real", e eu confesso que estava torcendo muito por isso.
Enfim, valeu quase segundo. Amo os atores dos dois e confesso que gosto muito desse enredo porque quem é covarde perde...
