Haunted by childhood trauma, Chikaishi Shogo rejects love, living off a woman he doesn't care for. His only genuine bond is with his childhood friend Watari Hiromi, but when he discovers her feelings, his aversion to love leads to her death. As punishment, a goddess curses him: in every reincarnation, he must fall in love with one woman and die before they can be together. Trapped in an endless cycle, Shogo is forced to confront the very thing he despises, love, across countless worlds. "it's okay to fall in love"
this is the type of drama you need to read the manga before watching it, because they didnt adapt some part in the manga eventho it's important.the visual itself screams indie production movie which is great. the male lead acting kinda stiff, but luckily the rest of the cast did a great job. shogo himself is a sceptipcal person about love, but in some episode the male lead looks like having a hard time to potray it. hiromi's actress did a great job potraying two different character with her eyes. japanese PH always tend to tone down the original work even this is midnight dorama lol, making the adaptation work less well delivered because the important elements have been tone down

MORE PEOPLE NEED TO WATCH THIS!
When I first read the premise, I was intrigued as it reminded me of an anime I watched ages ago. However, the execution exceeded my expectations. The storytelling is gripping, and the emotions feel incredibly raw. The FL’s acting is breathtaking—she conveys heart-wrenching emotions with such depth and sincerity that it’s hard to believe she’s so young. Every moment pulls you in. While the English subtitles are flawed, the story is powerful enough to make it worth the effort. A must-watch!Was this review helpful to you?
