A Yong, a young man from Beijing, meets A Hua, a Vietnamese girl, at the Sino-Vietnamese border trade market. Together with his friend A Cheng, they build a business. Over time, the three become emotionally entangled, but A Cheng is framed and imprisoned, and A Hua disappears. Six years later, A Yong becomes a supplier of Vietnamese seafood.
