Characters go through the same situation but I'd say that A Moment to Remember has much solid writing and acting.

One is a heartbreaking movie and the other is a really touching drama. Deal with similar topics like what happens to love and being a couple when a woman has a severe illness. Beautiful Life is definitely worth to watch.

It's not so much about reconciliation between a divorced couple, but A Beautiful Life is rather similar in their exploration of relationships. The protagonists in both films are faced with problems that require love, patience and pure tenacity to be able to endure and overcome and that's probably what draws common ground between the two. Without giving away too much however, I guess you could say that A Beautiful life is also about reconciliation between a couple as there is at some point, a bump in their relationship.
