Twisted fate or a chance?
Even though she rightfully askes God why did he give her the one thing she's always longed for...when she had no time left to keep it, the movie still shows us how merciful can the fate be. We may claim it was unfair to her but what kind of a life she had before? She was timid, miserable and unhappy. For the first time in her life she had a courage to fight, she had a courage to live for herself and she had a courage to love and be loved. A deeply layered romance
I went into this knowing an emotional roller coaster would be waiting for me. The writing, acting, soundtrack and production delivering it up masterfully. The ML’s puppy dog demeanour chasing his idealistic love is endearing and irresistible from Wang Kai Mu. The FL’s story arc carries you forward wanting fairness for her in all areas of life. The dialogue is precise in laying out her circumstances and situations presenting her as a social commentary. An ordinary person with coworkers, friends, family, health, employment and social systems all suppressing , using, betraying and invalidating her. Even having a loving relationship is pressuring to her needing to be protective, caring and not allowing his goodness to be tarnished. This has no villain or villainess taking extreme actions instead people surrounding the FL being self serving and uncaring of the FL as a person. Soundtrack matches the moods without being overpowering. The rewatch value is high as this is a great romantic tear worthy drama.Was this review helpful to you?

Eu estava com expectativas altas em relação a esse mini drama vertical pelos trechos que vi em patrocinados.Então assim que descobri o nome real, corri para assistir e não me arrependi.
A história é muito bonita de um amor puro e genuíno do ML para a FL, a atuação do Wang Kai Mu sem dúvidas é uma das melhores. A atriz principal também foi ótima em sua atuação nos momentos cruciais.
Eu gostei muito da história, mas definitivamente a FL não conseguiu enxergar que era mais fácil estar ao lado de quem amava, ser sincera e aproveitar cada segundo que lhe restava, apesar de todas as interferências do que causar todos os problemas e ainda ferir tanto o ML em suas rejeições e tentativas de afastamento.
A única coisa que realmente me desagrada é o roteiro com abusos excessivos por parte dos parentes, me deixa extremamente ansiosa pensar que a realidade da China realmente pode ser essa, onde que adultos não tem autonomia para se relacionar pelo peso que a família impõe sobre eles ou que as empresas realmente são tão tóxicas quanto representadas. Sei que culturalmente a China e a Coreia do Sul tem seus problemas, assim como os demais países, mas tudo que é representado nestes doramas são o mais puro abuso perante a um ser humano, então não sei como conseguem romantizar tanto na vida real.
