Title: What a Well Behaved Girl (2025) is a well done romance miniseries with Yang Pengcheng (as Duan Xiuming & Duan Xiuzhi) and Long Xi (as Lu Mingye & Lu Mingyu) in the leading couple’s role. The cast did a good job bringing their characters to life but Yang Pencheng and Long Xi really did great performing such complex characters that can send shivers up the spine. Duan Xiumin, because of his status in the Duan family, behaved like a care free person with deep responsibilities and Lu Mingyu, after years of physical and emotional abuse, learned how to masked her feeling in order to protect herself from becoming weak at the hands of her abusive family. It was riveting to see how Xiuming broke through Mingyu’s emotional barriers and planted the seed of love with his devotion, love, and fierceness protection toward her.
