Great visuals but romance was lacking

I was very excited when I found out that Guo Yuxin was working with Shen Hao Nan on a drama. Saw this drama on Thursday and watched it a day after. I finished it feeling less than satisfied.

What I liked:
1. FL characterisation - Yes, finally Guo Yuxin didn't have to cry her heart out for a man! I liked Song Ning for her courage & self-reliance. She solved her problems - definitely not a damsel in distress.
2. Plot - I'd say I never imagined the story would go that way, mostly in a good way. I was entertained throughout the drama.
3. Styling - Ok we know Shen Haonan is gorgeous and the styling from hair to clothes was impeccable. Guo Yuxin's styling was on point too. I love her magenta gown. She looked like a mermaid which made me think of Mermaid Husband (I'd love to see a remake with Guo Yuxin as FL).
4. Supporting characters - Despite the short airtime, I really liked Kang Xu. First impression gives a big impact and oh boy, he did. I also liked ML's mother & assistant. The dynamic between ML's mum & dad was fun to watch.

What I disliked:
1. Romance - For a couple pairing that is visually stunning, the romance is lacking. Yes there were some kisses and handholding but there was little time spent on the development of FL & ML as a couple. Most of the time was spent on FL's battles with her love rivals.
2. Ending - What??? C'mon at least give us a bedroom scene. I know Shen Haonan & Guo Yuxin had done intimate scenes (Your Trap & World Upside Down being my favourite dramas respectively).
3. Work - It's a bummer that we only got to see glimpse of FL's work. Her interview scene was great because the casse study had a personal touch to it.

Why the Nice premises to become Wasteland of both actor skills?

I have high expectation with collaboration between Guo Yuxin and Shen Haonan and i have to say the drama is quite big disappointment for both actors. Guo Yuxin queen of chemistry didn't work well in this drama. Even Shen Haonan didn't save this drama.

The plot is about FL confessed to ML who happened to be her boss and her boss is fired her (quite understand the boss POV but it was too extreme since it just merely confession not sexual harassment just giving warning is enough unless FL do it for many times). FL is regret her action, getting drunk,hooked up with her boss and run away from him.

FL is actually not easy to being bullied which is quite nice but for Romance drama and the actor caliber the kiss was on rookie level (this is not campus drama duh, office drama usually have sizzling kiss). There is too much jump on the plot which is the plot is going nowhere and the ending is like eh what happened? what did i watch? did i getting hypnotize? where is my precious time?

Not recommend to rewatch. Just once is enough.

Fofo, mas

A atuação dos dois sem dúvidas é maravilhosa, eles atuam muito bem juntos. Sou suspeita para falar, já que assisto tudo que o Shen Hao Nan faz. Gosto bastante também da Guo Yu Xin, porém...
Talvez os vídeos disponíveis não tenham toda a história ou apenas o roteiro seguiu da maneira que foi.
Inicia-se com a confissão dela, a demissão, depois a noite em que dormiram juntos, para três anos depois ele a encontrar e já se casam. Eles já se conhecem do colégio, aparentemente os dois tem sentimentos um pelo outro, mas nunca abordam tal fato, principalmente o ML. Mas ele faz tudo que a esposa quer e é nítido o quanto gosta dela. Estava indo tudo bem, e do nada o pai dele aparece, mandando ela embora, ela pede 5 milhões, rasga e some por um mês, com o intuito de provar ao pai dele que ele não a esqueceria. Mas sinto que faltou algo entre esses momentos, houve pequenas discussões que eu simplesmente pulei, porque não tenho mais paciência para todo o dramalhão mexicano que se forma nos ambientes de trabalho e/ou com rivais, sério, poderiam melhorar isso, não só neste, como em todos os cdramas.
É bom para passar o tempo e aproveitar o ML.
