Gu Jiao, whose parents passed away when she was young, grew up alongside the three Mu brothers as childhood companions. All three brothers develop feelings for her and demand that she choose one of them to marry once she comes of age. Hoping to escape this arrangement, Gu Jiao tries to break free by marrying her boyfriend Lin Cheng Ming. However, she is betrayed by both her boyfriend and her best friend. Underwhelming drama about damsel in distress with multiple suitors
I got to know about this drama from a subreddit. I was intrigued by the plot - multiple suitors in which FL got to kiss them all. Unfortunately the drama didn't meet my expectations. The ending was left open - I don't know if production team pland to do part 2 but I am not going to watch it.What I liked:
1. Duration - It's very short drama - only 1 hour 6 minutes.
What I disliked:
1. FL characterisation - She was a typical damsel in distress. She got cheated by her boyfriend and while mending a broken heart, she overheard her adopted brothers conversation about her purpose of being adopted. Then the chase began and she was constantly confused.
2. Romance - There was no romantic feelings between FL and any of the brothers. The wooing was too aggressive especially by third brother.
3. Third brother - He came on too strong and forced. I found him creepy for kissing her when she was sleeping (no consent there). My interest in this dropped because of this scene.
4. Plot devices - There were common plot devices in this drama: jealous mistress, kidnapping. I got bored.
5. Ending - I am usually fine with open ending but this one didn't cut it. It was a cop out - FL didn't choose any of the suitors.

I watched it when i want to make some review and i remember i dropped this drama before since all of casts acting are unbearable to me. No chemistry, Only Lust and obvious budget-tight drama. Female Lead is too weak and All the brothers are creep. Nothing could save this drama and they deserve their own Razzie award!Was this review helpful to you?
