In the summer of his third year of high school, a transfer student named Yasuhiko arrives. He is a man from the future who has travelled back in time 300 years after reading and admiring a certain novel. Miyuki shares a secret with Yasuhiko. Eventually, the two fall in love. Then, on July 21st, fate takes a major turn. With the medicine given to her by Yasuhiko, Miyuki travels back in time 10 years. Miyuki from the future shows Yasuhiko a book and says, "The novel you will write... You can definitely write it." It is the novel that Yasuhiko will encounter in the future. After returning from the time leap, Miyuki sees him off as he returns to the future. They make a promise to each other, "I will write the story of him and me this summer and complete the time loop."
