Cute and positive boy sports story
It is a very "boys sports" storythe story itself is a pretty good story, sometimes slow or a little cheesy but nicely moving along. The acting isnt bad, The adult actor is a seasoned pro and his acting pulls up the acting of the youngsters. He was in Man to Man so he is all good acting macho men who join forces with other men in friendship and teamwork, he is very charming or nasty, as needed :)
The youngster actors are not bad, actually they are acting pretty well.
The music isnt quite the zap it needs to be... it is not a perfect match.
It is just that overall the vibe of tis kdrama is not pumped up but more mellow, we are basically watching the daily interactions of a bunch of very young athletes. Most ppl in this kdrama are super young male basketball players and a male high school student.
Perhaps how it was filmed made it a little choppy? somehow scenes do not follow quiiiite smoothly. I am sure the filmmakers will improve that.
The only adult is the Coach, more or less, and the only females are Coach's wife and daughter and yeah one hater, and we see them soooo rarely. It is definitely a macho drama about "a boys' network".
Coach's wife is in 2 other dramas currently airing: here, a mostly-villain in For Eagle Brothers, and a quirky assistant in Second Shot at Love. So, by now I watched so many videos of her.... I am IMPRESSED that all 3 roles are very different, fundamentally. and SHE ACTS THEM DIFFERENTLY, clearly, it is 3 different people. Two of those roles are the mother with a daughter, and one is a personal assistant / caretaker of a young doctor. That actress truely can act.
