What I Like
- the actors
- clear premise
- the first shower scene lol
- supportive friends
- intimacy
Room For Improvement
- 1 minute intro and 1 minute credits were too long for such a short series (also repetitive flashbacks and overly long recaps, episode 5 had 4 minutes of recap!)
- spent too long on the first scene in episode 1, overall the plot dragged/was repetitive, the story could have easily been told in half the runtime
- totally nonsense approach from the ML, he could have had a 2 minute conversation at the very beginning instead of being creepy, he later said he wasn't allowed to say anything and then shortly thereafter explained things
- several scenes were too dark and it was difficult to see the actor, it was very blurry I keep trying to change it to 1080 only to realize it was on 1080
- sound effects
- moping for multiple episodes
- more angst for several episodes
- production value (several scenes at night were way too dark, it was frequently blurry, I liked the song but it played over and over and over again)

A Light & Lovely BL Show with Cute Chemistry!
"Mission to the Moon" is a sweet, light BL drama that really wins you over with its chemistry and charm. While the plot may have its weaker moments, it’s an enjoyable watch overall, and at just 10 minutes per episode, it's perfect for a quick midweek escape. 📅One of the standout elements for me is the adorable dynamic between Mon and Pak. Their chemistry is undeniable, and the intimate moments (especially the kiss scenes!) are executed beautifully. ❤️ The way they interact with each other makes the show worth watching, even when the storyline stumbles a bit.
As for the complaints about the increase in the number of episodes—honestly, I don’t mind it at all! It’s refreshing to have something to look forward to on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. 😊 It gives a nice rhythm to the week.
If you're a fan of BL and enjoy light-hearted, feel-good moments, this show definitely hits the mark. It’s not heavy on drama, but that’s what makes it so easy to binge and enjoy without feeling overwhelmed.
Highly recommend if you're looking for a short, sweet series with great chemistry and a little bit of romance!

finally it's over!
whilst this only amounts to about 10×20min eps in content it felt incredibly dragged out. i enjoyed the development of vee's feelings throughout, but it could have been about half the length as there was a LOT of pointless flashbacks, scenes of one of them sitting with no dialogue for several minutes, and episodes in which nothing happened.the chemistry was good but the acting felt flat at times. whilst i understand that it's a low-budget series, the one ost was insanely overused and i started to feel annoyed whenever i heard it or its instrumental 😅

Cute But Take Too Long to Go Anywhere
This was a hard series to dislike. Conversely, it was also a difficult series TO like as well. Overall, what brought this series down was its production value and the way it was presented. A comprehensive story cannot be told proficiently in 30 episodes of 8 minutes or so stretched over 3 months. No one’s attention span can last that long or retain details or nuances of a story in that sporadic of a time frame. Especially this series as several episodes were tedious, repetitive, and lackluster. While the concept was great, it simply droned on too long with the same mundane storylines going nowhere which caused one to lose interest. What was entertaining was the fact that, at times, the main protagonists were quite good and surprisingly effective, given the fantasy nature of the story. Then unfortunately they too slipped into banality and repetitiveness. It undoubtedly would be more impactful watching it in toto. In terms of total time, it is only about 4 hours. Was this review helpful to you?

ehm...not very good.
What a shame, the story has so much potential, but was executed so bad! And with 30 episodes of 8 minutes, i just felt like they dragged it along.Visuals were nice and Mon and Pak (ecspecially him!) are handsome men. Pak did a good job acting, he can really show different emotions. But he could still use some acting lessons, because he isn't great. The acting of Mon felt very flat, i really got tired of that constant smirk on his face. And i didn't feel much chemistry between the leads.
The other actors were just very bad...
The music was ok, but they used too much of the same tune.
I definatly won't watch it again..

Yummy bare torsos decked in jewelled belts, not much otherwise :P
I love Pak's bare torso...particularity in his past-life avtaar, wearing that white chong kraben and silver jewelled belt across his tantalising torso.....:D......beyond the tantalising half-bare men, this has little to offer so far...this kinda reminds me of school projectsBL-needle score: 7.5, reasonably high BL-ness
With past-life romp flash backs, present day showering scenes, and an attempt to weave a story that links both, all within 7-7.5 precious minutes is a tall order....each of the 10 minutes-long episodes of this mini series has 1 minute each of titles at the beginning and end, and 1 minute teaser of 'next episode' at the end...
The principal reason that I decided to watch this is because it is a mini series, and the leads seemed easy on the eyes....watched all the four episodes at one go....I liked the leads and their 'offerings'...but that's about it...I might come back to binge watch the rest of the episodes at one go when they become available...I hope they don't cover-up those bare torsos. :P

UNDENIABLE CHEMISTRY, DISAPPOINTING VISUALS
Mission to the Moon is great despite its short episodes. The historical storyline is engaging however I haven't fully enjoy watching this series due to its cinematography. One of the reason that I watched this is because of PakMon, I watched their previous series Knock Out Boys and Two Worlds, I was excited to see them in leading roles as their chemistry is undeniable. The story follows Narvi that has been reborn after thousands of years. In their past life, Narvi was a soldier, and Sasin was the king's son. They were lovers once and now, in the modern world, their paths cross again.
The cinematography is a letdown. The washed-out, blurry scenes feel like they're from an older camera of 7 years ago, which is jarring given the series' modern production. A decent camera would've elevated the visuals.

Was this review helpful to you?
