This is a story of unwavering loyalty of a true lone hero who stands firm in history. In the late Southern Song Dynasty, Wen Tian Xiang, left as the last survivor, was captured by Zhang Hong Fan at Wupoling after being trapped in a mountain valley. For Zhang Hong Fan, persuading Wen Tian Xiang to surrender is the final step in breaking the spirit of the Song people. For Wen Tian Xiang, however, the question of surrender is no longer a matter of personal survival, but one of principle and legacy. At the same time, a group of modern young people, while performing the Yingge dance in tribute to Wen Tian Xiang, are unexpectedly transported back to the moment of his capture.
