Japan in 1972, a time of rapid economic growth. It is no longer the postwar period. Every Japanese person is pursuing affluence. As if going against the trend of the times, Tsujihara Tamotsu (Motoki Masahiro), a journalist from a broadcasting station in Nagasaki, begins to collect the voices of atomic bomb survivors. However, at that time, the damage caused by the atomic bomb was still fresh, and the experiences of atomic bomb survivors were not something that should be spoken about in the first place. Recording the experiences of atomic bomb survivors in such an era was a lonely and harsh task that was not understood by those around them. During this time, Tsujihara has a fateful encounter with a survivor, Kuno Kazuhira. Tsujihara is deeply moved by the "voice" that Kuno speaks. He wants to convey this "voice". However, that "voice" is also full of many mysteries. (Source: Japanese = NHK || Translation = kisskh) Edit Translation
