FL too obliging even after multiple blackmails
I was perusing new releases and this drama's poster caught my attention. I always think both Li Zi Jie and Li Ke Yi have the prettiest lips in the world of Chinese vertical dramas. Thick, full lips. Anyway I watched within the first two days of release. I didn't enjoy this drama.What I liked:
1. Styling - I never thought I would see Li Ke Yi rocking top & trousers combo because she's always in dresses and qipao. I loved the wide leg trousers and brown top/jacket she wore. ML wore noce suits - I really like the teal blue suit.
2. Kisses - Good kisses.
3. Supporting characters - I liked FL's colleagues at BC group, the orphanage director & the kids .
What I disliked:
1. Antagonists - I hated FL's arranged fiancée for the double standard, the greed & being controlling. His mistress is even worse. She acted as though she was already part of his family.
2. FL's characterisation - Having watched Spring Day starring Guo Yu Xin & Chen Zheng Yang a week ago, I felt that there are similarities between this couple & that couple. However I felt that FL was too obliging to the Ji family. Her arranged fiancée was disrespectful to her but out of respect/feeling indebted, she just persevered and accepted the blackmail. I also don't understand why she left a company that's good for her growth & wellbeing.
3. Relationship - I found the relationship overall had more downs than ups. Their secret relationship felt more like booty calls than actual, healthy relationship.

The plot weakens after 30 minutes
Li Zijie and Li Ke Yi pairing are surprisingly fine to watch. There are so many kissing scenes!! - But after watching around in 30 minutes, I felt the plot was getting too weak. I thought it was going to pick up some steam, but it just got weak again near the end. SML's character is so annoying, but his constant antics were driving me crazy! In the end, I fast-forwarded and didn't understand why the FL ended up with the SML but I was so annoyed and didn't want to understand why. - In short, if you can't stand the weak plot, this is not for you.Was this review helpful to you?

Infelizmente é mais um drama de identidade misteriosa, reconhecendo a pessoa errada, família/noiva criança adotiva.A química entre a FL e o ML é até que Ok, porém os beijos são meio rígidos. A aparência do ator que faz o ML, conforme alguns usuários já perceberam, está diferente nos últimos dramas, o que - pra mim - afetou MUITO a sua atuação nos últimos dois dramas que assisti com ele. Parece que ele mal consegue falar.
A FL se presta a situações ridículas com o noivo e sua amante e várias conspirações no ambiente de trabalho até o ML, tio dele, interfere sempre que pode e consegue.
Enfim, é isso, não vou nem me estender porque sinceramente não vale a pena. É uma pena que essa atriz sempre faça esses papéis.
