They're both makjangs except that Perfect Marriage Revenge is fantasy. Also the poster.

Gyeong Hui is an influencer and business owner who is adored for the lovely image of her family. Her interior business is thriving, and she is trying to get closer to Su Jeong, the owner of a skin?care clinic next door, because she realizes Su Jeong could help her secure an investment that would take her business to the next level.

One day, after hearing rumors that her husband Jae Hyeong is having an affair, she follows him — only to be shocked when she discovers him handling a dead body. His explanation is even more devastating. “Are you saying my daughter Ye Ji hurt someone? So the affair isn’t the only problem?”

To protect their success and their family, Gyeong Hui and Jae Hyeong bury the body in the garden of their mansion to cover up the accident. However, later that night, they receive a message: “I recorded everything you did yesterday.

It kept snowballing to madness. And the seemingly innocent had the dirtiest involvement. The events are not as clear cut as they appear and of course an affair was at the centre of it all. Twists upon twists with impeccable directing

Cho Yeojeong acted as the main lead in both dramas. The plots are quite similar, mainly involving cheating, family dynamics, and so on. "Cheat on me if you can" also features a murder mystery as a main plot point. Both dramas are entertaining to watch.

Both are about ordinary people who get wrapped up in a crime. Things spiral out of control as they try not to get caught.

Another drama with Che Yeojeong. It's crazy how she always chooses the cheating or getting cheated on characters for her projects. Both dramas have many similarities.

- Slippery Slope + : Both titles thrive on absurdity and rapid escalation. More bad decisions = More chaos.

- Vaudeville Meets Hitchcock Tone: Both strike a rare balance between dark suspense and pure farce. A very theatrical spin on Dark-Comedy.

- Very Flawed Characters: Neither story relies on squeaky-clean heroes. Instead, you get messy, oblivious, and deeply flawed adults—and sometimes clueless teens, acting on pure panic, vanity or instinct.

- Not Bland Execution: Both works have great direction and sound design. Sharp, thrilling and intentional.

- K-Dark Comedy Heritage: The Quiet Family (1998) is the blueprint. If you're enjoying the slick, modern, chaotic energy of TAWJTB, going back to where this brand of Korean black comedy began should be a nice trip.

Marriages that looks perfect but beneath is an affair, where the parents choices heavily impacts the children.
For both, the affair was just the beginning
