This work depicts the four days in which a family reunites after the death of a brother and struggles to clean up after him. One day, Riko receives news from the police that her brother, whom she hasn't seen in years, has passed away, and heads to Tohoku. Reunited with her brother's ex-wife Kanako and her daughter Marina, Riko and her brother clean up the apartment where her brother used to live, and together they continue to badmouth him for being selfish and at his own pace. Kanako, who must have been troubled by him in the same way, says to Riko, "Maybe there's something about you that he doesn't know."
