Remnants of Gold Episode 9

Ban Cha recounts the origins of the gold to Pu Ying: the 300,000 taels of gold were buried by Right Chancellor Wang Bao Bao, and Ban Cha and Bana were both among the eighteen riders tasked with its protection. Seventeen, taking advantage of Xiao Fang's momentary lapse in attention, bumps into his forehead to escape. Bana, using fire to break the rope, escapes with Seventeen. Xiao Fang pursues again, and Bana sacrifices himself to stop Xiao Fang, dying on the spot. Upon learning of Bana's death, the commander orders a search for Seventeen. Zhang Lu Yao recounts to Pu Ying her experiences five years ago—falling off a cliff on her wedding day and three years testing poisons at the Tang Clan. Pu Ying overhears Zhang Lu Yao's conversation with Ban Cha. Zhang Lu Yao instructs Pu Ying that if the court sends another imperial envoy, he should forget about everything and they should go their separate ways at dawn. The next day, Zhang Lu Yao rides away alone… Fu Tu arrives at the Shaquan Inn in Ganzhou, searching for the Qin Demon of Pingfeng Mountain. (Source: Chinese = ZuiAi.TV || Translation = kisskh)
