Photographer Jewan is about to marry Pearl, a disciplined pilates teacher, though he isn't ready. While preparing for the wedding, he gets a photography job in Nan where he gets to know Mae Uisaeng and Waenfa, a teacher of Tai Lue dance trying to preserve the local culture. In the warm community, Jewan and Waenfa's relationship grows, and as Pearl rushes to get marries, Waenfa is organising the Kiang Peng festival of Jewan's little sister Sai Khim and her husband Nan Paeng despite the village headman's opposition.
